Yes JL. I like when the fries are thick. Like a good steak fry. My babe would like this roast beef sandwich. Tender, and the brown gravy.

I have wanted to eat here since they opened a few months ago but was hoping someone would go with me to share my sandwich. I heard that their sandwiches were large. Today I decided to go on my own. I ordered the hot roast beef with provolone sandwich and potato wedges. Wow, wow, wow! The roast beef was excellent. So thinly sliced and so tender, and there’s no spices to cover up the flavor of the beef. Delicious! It is not cheap but I have got to say the quality justifies the price. I definitely will be going again! The people that work there are very friendly and informative.

Ordered through DoorDash so I had to wait a bit, but well worth it. Pictures I took don’t do I justice. Thank god to finally have a good cheesesteak so close by. Looking to dine in next time and eat it fresh out the kitchen. Interested in other menu items as well

The food is tops . I did a review on the Roast pork Saturday gotta ton of views . Would highly recommend this place to everyone. Service and friendly people 100% . I have a problem with the prices. I don’t complain about money for food we even went back today I took my son to try the Beef . But the average person isn’t gonna be able to afford to eat there more than once in a while . 2.50 for a side of regular hot peppers it was about 1 pepper cut up. Again the food and service is tops and if they want to gain some business from the other local places they need to revisit the prices . Best of luck

Excellent food and the nicest staff! We had cheese steaks at their Sewell location and roast beef at their new wash twp location. The cheese steak rib eye was great and not super chopped up like ground beef like some places do. The roast beef blew us away. Best we ever had and almost melts in your mouth. The rolls…forget about it. Next time, we try the roast pork!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally decided to give it a shot. I’ll start with the only real positive — the owner and staff were friendly and polite. Customer service matters, and I do appreciate that. Unfortunately, that’s where most of the good ended for me.

I’m someone who understands rising food costs and I’m not afraid to pay for quality, but $33 for a cheesesteak with long hots and fries — no drink included — is honestly hard to justify, especially in Washington Township. Prices felt completely out of touch with the area. I’ve paid less at top-tier spots in Philadelphia where overhead and rent are significantly higher. Charging premium-city prices in a local suburban market only works if the product absolutely delivers, and in this case it didn’t.

The steak itself was not very flavorful, the onions were cut way too large which threw off the texture, and the amount of cheese was minimal. What really surprised me was the parmesan cheese sprinkled on top — something I’ve never seen on a traditional cheesesteak and personally would never want again. If you’re going to do something that far outside the norm, customers should at least be asked first instead of being handed a sandwich that feels altered from what people expect.

And let’s talk about the “fries.” These were not fries — they were oversized potato wedges closer to baked potatoes. If you’re advertising French fries, that’s what people should receive. Presentation and accuracy matter, especially when you’re charging premium prices.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative feedback, but I also believe in being honest. When you position yourself at the high end price-wise, people expect consistency, strong flavor, and attention to detail. Right now it feels like the pricing is ahead of the product. Hopefully this is taken as constructive criticism, because with some adjustments — clearer menu descriptions, more balanced portions, and more realistic pricing — the experience could match the expectations.

I went with a girlfriend of mine and we had the hot roast beef and fries it was good but very pricey. We asked for aujus and they charged us $3.00 for small souffle cup of au jus they gave us 3 of them but come on what does it hold 4 tablespoons lol and they charged us $2.00 for the cheese I can really say that it was the first time I ever paid for cheese on my sandwich. Two roasted beef and cheese and one order of ff cost us over 50.00 well it will a very long time before I go back there

Stopped by Louie G’s after hearing all the buzz, and wow — the rumors are absolutely true. I live in South Philly, I know my cheesesteaks, roast pork, and all the classics… and Louie G’s did not disappoint.

We ordered several sandwiches and every single one was impressive. The quality is top-notch, the flavor is legit, and the portions? Huge. These are OG-style sandwiches — packed, delicious, and worth every penny.

If you’re looking for a real deal local favorite with amazing food and great value, Louie G’s is definitely the spot. I’ll be back for sure.

Bravo, Louie G’s!

Pros: Friendly and Helpful Staff, Great Food
Cons: Super Expensive

Order: $90 for 3 sandwiches and fries. The adds on cost way too much. Good thing I don’t rate by the price tho. Would come back just not as much.

Terrific cheesesteak w/fried onions and boardwalk fries! Long hots side were great too. Giana is an excellent hospitality professional. Just like their Mantua store. Inside seating is great too.
