This time I got 2 BLTs no tomato. Nowhere on the menu does it say mayo is on the wrap, just bacon, lettuce and tomato is listed under it… the wrap
Had so much mayo on it I couldn’t taste anything else… and none of us like mayo. If it was listed as something on the sandwich I would have requested none. I paid $65 for two blts and a small pepperoni pizza and all that was eaten was 2 pieces of pizza. Such a waste of money!!! The pizza was loaded with sauce, I mean so much sauce it was dripping off of it with every bite. Bacon wasn’t cooked AT ALL, but the wrap was so hot that the lettuce was wilted and the wrap soggy, and I mean SOGGY! (Who wants to eat a soaked wrap.. idk if it was soaked with bacon grease or from being so hot)
Needless to say I won’t be getting ANY food there ever again. Gave them 3 chances, hoping maybe they just had a new person cooking or a bad day.. who knows. I advise others to be careful, undercooked pork is no joke. Im the Front of House manager at a very busy restaurant in the next town over. I know what people think when someone complains “they just want free food!”I couldn’t even eat that if it was free. I didn’t call and complain because I’m not about arguing with someone on the phone. I’ll take it as a loss and a lesson learned.
Something I heard directly was “we may not be able to start opening at 6 when we had planned because I need to make sure my people are ready.” And that alone should tell you tons about the aim for quality workers, but also about the care Pat has for them and the service provided.
As a loudon resident who lives on s village, I am more than thankful that the country store is not only able to resume business, but was reopened with genuine heart put into everything I’ve seen so far. I am thankful that the community is able to have that space back in a way this drastically better, and I don’t think there are any hands I’d rather our little store have fallen into. Since the reopen my family and I’ve been getting food fairly regularly and we’ve tried quite a few things by this point, every single thing we’ve tried had been absolutely delicious and it’s so nice to have as tasty, low priced, and large portioned a place as this within walking distance; on top of that the perfect service!!
All that to say; go, go and support this business and show them the love that I see them pouring into all their actions. The food is truly wonderful, and I highly recommend trying something new! Something else to note too is that if you’re curious or if you don’t know what something on the menu is, feel free to ask when you get there! I’ve asked a bunch of things from what’s the kushi wrap to will fat dans reopen aswell (he said it will btw!!) and I haven’t once felt any sort of awkwardness or anxiousness just because the people who work there are all so kind. I was even asked my name just so that Pat could know it – I’m not sure many places show that much respect just because. <3
What a shame, food is absolutely amazing, but the service from their counter person in the late afternoon is atrocious. Not only are you greeted with mean looks but you get a side of eye Rolling as well or attitude. Oh and don’t dare call 40 minutes before they close and ask for food. Her response was.” you know we close in 40 minutes, right?” I almost told her to forget about it, but decided to continue with my order. Tried being kind and greeted her but she wanted nothing to do with me. Her response to me walking in and asking how she was doing was “name plz” took my card handed me the pizza and walked away without saying anything. The older lady in the mornings is super kind, respectful, and professional, but whoever takes over the afternoon shift just destroyed my experience there and won’t return.
