This is a really good place to eat and outside is dog friendly. I didn’t like having 2 different people wait on me but they both were professional and courteous. It’s a bar and restaurant. The venue next door (also part of them) had live music and entertainment

We know it is very busy during Sturgis so we try to be accommodating and patient.
The outdoor seating was not being ran well at all. We waited at the bar for the bartender to acknowledge us, she literally look at us several times and just ignored us.
We then asked a waiter if we could use his wet towel to wipe down the table and chairs.
We then were finally greeted by our server. She was very nice but ver busy – probably overworked etc.
we got sub par food for the price.
Just across the street they serve nachos with meat, of your choice, for the same price. 20.00!
The nachos here were not good, had no meat options, etc.
atmosphere cannot be beat.
Amazing people watching, and sub par bar food is what you get.
We will go back and give it a few more tries though. Maybe everyone was having an off day?

My family and I came in about 3 weeks ago. The waitress had cute purple braids. She was so nice and friendly. She took our order promptly, then when our food came out we started eating. The food was tasty but my 1 year old threw up everywhere. I was mortified. The sweet waitress came to our rescue. She told me she understood and has a couple kids of her own. She helped us tidy up the floor and gave us some rags to wipe down everything. Overall, this is a fun bar experience that is also family friendly. I hope you know that I still think about your kindness!

Stopped in with some friends to eat a pre-race meal! It hit the spot. I had the loud American burger and my son had the steak tips, our friends had the tacos. Everything came out great, service was exceptional.

First of all this place deserves 4.5 Stars to be more accurate but since they don’t do halves, oh well. When I usually see places like this I get vibes of it being a place that wants to be a nice restaurant but serves bar food. This is not the case with Loud American Roadhouse! They have a charm being located smack dab in the middle of town which helps add to the aesthetic. The atmosphere is really cool looking like a old western town place with modern amenities. You can sit yourself anywhere you want which is nice. Then the waitress is prompt and courteous to ask for your choice of drinks. They bring them out quite fast, and they give you the time you need for the menu. The menu has a decent assortment of choices, but upon discovery you realize very quickly that this place loves it’s steak tips! I ordered some jalapeño poppers, house salad, and steak tip wrap for my meal. The poppers are absolutely to die for! Delicious:) The house salad does its job with a variety of veggies mixed with lettuce nothing more than average, and the wrap was good but not great. The service really shines at this place. The server, and others that come bring out your food are very polite and professional. It helps this place out since the prices for me are a bit higher than what I would like to see, but when you add up the atmosphere, the quality of service, and the good food, I would say that’s fair. Overall, this place deserves your time and money, which makes it a great place to invite friends to join you for a splendid evening. Good times await you at Loud American Roadhouse, just make sure not to come there during the Sturgis Bike Rally!!

Good food.
Update: stopped for lunch today, last day of Sturgis Rally. They have a Rally menu to help their kitchen. The menu has several selections. I had the Walleye and fries. Walleye was fried and tasted great. Their fries were great. Good place to eat during the rally. Also a good place to eat all the time.

My wife and I had dinner at the Loud American. From the time we walked in the door we were treated like friends. Since it was our first time there the waitress helped by guiding us through the menu. Service was fast and the steak tips were awesome. The portions were huge. I’m a big fella and it was all I could do to finish my meal. My wife had to get a to go box.
We had a nice time and will definitely be back soon.

Nice spot for a casual Mother’s Day lunch with live music playing in the background. The buffet was just OK—our group noted the prime rib didn’t make a second appearance while we were there—but it was a festive atmosphere overall. We ordered off the limited menu: the signature Loud Burger had good flavor but the patty was overcooked and the sweet potato fries were crisp and tasty. The chicken wrap was the standout—fresh and well-balanced with seasoned string fries on the side. A decent place to gather with friends if you’re in Sturgis.
