The food was amazing! The server we had was a bit overwhelmed. She did her very best and honestly she didn’t miss a thing. Heard everything we asked for and got it to us as soon as she could. Great work. The food. Let’s be clear they spend time making this food and it SHOWS in the flavors. Yes, it takes a few minutes longer but let me tell you TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT! If you know it’s not gonna be quick going in it’s less frustrating. So if you’re starving and need food like 5 minutes ago, order an appetizer or something and wait for the Za! DELICIOUS! Honestly, I’m really glad that Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers treated us like we were less than worthy because we left and I found this place which is a new favorite! So PROST! To Cold burgers for sending us on our way! Much better meal! I had the meatball Sammie and I’m still thinking about it several days later 😉

Ordered the personal size deep dish Margherita pesto pizza.. deep dish? Not even close. See the picture. I saw other orders of deep dish from people around us, and they were much thicker, but also a larger size pizza. The sauce was bland, could definitely use some more seasoning.
Bruschetta toppings were fresh. Good bread too.
My wife ordered the gluten free veggie, hers was pretty good.
Service was good.

I got a seat at the bar. The manager switch the channel on the TV for me.
I ordered 2 different cocktails and both were very good.
I tried the personal size pizza and it came out quickly. Was very hot. Which is a good thing. Im not going to say it was the best pizza I’ve ever tasted but I enjoyed it.
Everything was good for me. No complaints at all. The bartender was cool as well. Dude knew the menu front & back.

I had a great experience at Lou’s Pizzaria! The deep dish Chicago-style pizza was absolutely fantastic—perfectly baked, rich in flavor, and loaded just the way it should be. We started with the mozzarella bites as an appetizer, and they were delicious—crispy on the outside, perfectly cheesy on the inside.
The pizza did take a few minutes to come out, but that’s because it’s handmade and baked fresh, and you can really taste the difference. It was definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was friendly.
Highly recommend Lou’s Pizzaria if you’re in the mood for authentic, flavorful deep-dish pizza!

The meatball sub was delicious! One of the best ones I’ve ever had. The marinara sauce had a little kick to it, I’ve never had one with a little heat but I really digged it! I also had an Italian Old Fashioned to pair with it. A fun take on a classic cocktail, just had a little fruit inside the whiskey. The vibes are flowing inside the nicely lit and bustling atmosphere!

I don’t know why here’s review is kinda pretty low here because I think this place is very nice. The atmosphere is so colorful and joyful, very nice family restaurant style. We ordered two types of pizzas, one deep dish – Margherita & pesto and one thin crust – sausage, both are very nice, I love the deep dish is so cheesy! And thin crust is kind like a cracker. Both are very flavorful! We also had a big house salad which is really yummy as well. The service is great. We had a great time there.

I recently ordered takeout twice at this location and ordered the Chicago classic deep dish personal pizza with pepperoni both times. The online order process is very easy and the in-store pickup was no problem. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pizza here is some of the best I have had anywhere. Really high quality with great flavor, plenty of cheese/toppings, and a very good deep dish crust. It also re-heats well if you save it for later. The pizzas can be more on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for. I will likely be coming here again next time I am in town. I recommend it, especially if you have never had deep dish before!

I am originally from Chicago, so I’ve had several deep pizza from different restaurants. This is a picture of the leftovers, it was pretty good. We ordered deep dish cheese, deep dish cheeses and sausage and the thin crust pesto and cheese. Impressed with the pesto thin crust, plenty cheese was on it. When I come back to visit, I will stop by.

We are so happy to have Lou’s here in Surprise. We use to travel to their Phoenix location so having it here literally 5 minutes away is wonderful. We are from Chicago so Lou’s is no stranger to us. We love their deep dish pizza & the rest of their food. We’ve just about tried everything on their menu & you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. We go quite often & absolutely love their happy hour! Our visit a few days ago was great. Our waitress Kelly was very attentive and such a delight. It’s nice to have such good service and wonderful food.

We have been here a total of 4 times since it’s opening. We love to support local businesses. The first time 2 weeks into their opening was great. The second time 6 months into their opening are friends got sick. We did not and so we supposed that mybe it was something else that they ate somewhere else. Our third time my son and daughter-in-law got sick and we didn’t so we also thought it was just a coincidence. We took a bigger group of 13 this past Sunday. First of all, we were told that pastas and subs were ready to go and that pizzas would take 30 to 35 minutes. Three of our party decided that they would have pastas and subs. 55 minutes later we got pizzas. Still no subs and pasta an hour & 10 minutes later sub and pastas showed up. My friends asked if it could be wrapped to take home. Theybwere full from us sharing our pizzas. The pizzas tasted delicious but a day and a half later. 10 of the 13 in our party were sick, vomiting and diarrhea. Missing and school. When we call the restaurant they were nice enough to give us all our money back, with no fight at all. It made us all wonder… How many times does this happen that they were easily able to just give us our money back with no fight. Needless to say we won’t be coming back. Health first!
