The price alone made me hesitant but I figured I would try something different. After dropping almost $30 I ended up with a small, mushroom, green pepper pizza and boneless wings.
The boneless “wings” drenched in BBQ and ranch were okay, nothing special.
The pizza had a piece of plastic film covering it, unnecessary. (another turn off.) While it tasted okay the dough/crust was bland. I added my usual, chili flakes, hot sauce, and parmesan to make it edible.
An overpriced underwhelming meal that for not hit the spot. I will not be back. Chicago can keep there deep dish. Especially if it’s this bad.

I’ve gone to this location a bunch of times and always had a great experience, but thats not why Im writing this review. The other day was a Bears/Packers game, and this location was hit with a storm of deep-dish-craving Bears fans who all ordered their pizzas at the same time. When I arrived, the line was out the door, and customers were clearly showing frustration. Despite this, the staff worked their tails off to get everyone their pizzas, and did so with courtesy and grace. I got home just in time for the start of the game, and my pizza was just as good as it ever was. Kudos to the staff- you are all great.

I redeemed my earned rewards for a free pizza on Tuesday. As I was getting ready to leave work, I had a customer come in late, so I called to let them know not to throw my order away, that I would be there soon and I gave them an ETA. I was past my ETA when I arrived and figured I would just heat it up at home. I wish I could remember the name of the lady behind the counter who helped me was, but she was so kind! She expressed that the manager thought it would be best to just make me a fresh new one, so they had a fresh one ready for me out of the oven when I arrived! This is the type of service that you just don’t get to experience that often anymore. They truly live up to the Midwestern hospitality and have an exceptional Chicago style pizza like no other! I could not recommend this place more, not only for the delicious food always fresh, quality toppings, an unmatched butter crust and phenomenal classic Chicago deep dish, but to all the folks who work there who I have had nothing but the best experience with!

We order at least once a month. Their Lou meal deal is such a great value! We get the deep dish, buttercrust, with the spinach mix, well done and their Lou’s house salad (we always upgrade to this). Not only is it delicious, but it’s huge. Their sweet vinaigrette is the bomb! We just had this two nights ago and thinking about it makes my mouth water. The first photo is out pizza, we were so hungry I forgot to take a photo when we first opened the box. The second is the salad. I always toss it in a big bowl so everything gets mixed up. We all fight over the bacon bits. This way everyone is happy. I had friend over, one of which had never experienced deep dish pizza and she LOVED it!!

I LOVE this pizza! Me and my partner get Lou’s pizza more often than we’d like to admit. We order from this location all the time and it is consistently delicious.
Highly recommend getting the pizza WHOLE (un-cut) to slice at home and add a side of lemon garlic or Gorgonzola sauce!

The service was excellent even though it is take out only. They were so very friendly and patient. It was our first time trying them and had a few questions and they answered all of them with a smile! We enjoyed waiting for our orders, the atmosphere is great! The pizza was awesome! They don’t lie when they say 1 slice can satisfy your tummy. A small is plenty for two. We also got the cheese bread which was delicious and the chocolate obsession dessert. If you love chocolate, you will love it! Will definitely return but can’t wait for them to open the location closer to us!

I believe this location is for takeout only so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. Otherwise it’s an absolute gem of a local pizza place! The food quality here is consistently outstanding, every bite bursting with flavor. The value for the delicious dishes they serve is truly exceptional. Equally impressive is their customer service and management; they take great care in ensuring a top-notch experience for their patrons. A testament to their commitment to quality and service. One of our family favorites! Wish I had remembered to take photos, but we were too enamored with the experience of eating it, but I do have some leftovers to show you, and you will have leftovers I am very much looking forward to mine! The deep dish Chicago original is my personal favorite but I’ve never had a bad pizza from this place.

I had the most horrifying experience just now inside this location. I completely understand the idea of not letting the public use your restroom, but I was picking up a DoorDash order and I literally was almost in tears, and I told the guy that I could not hold it and I just needed to use the restroom Because I have a condition and he told me to walk across the parking lot to sprouts and I said please, sir is an emergency. He acted like he was gonna ask the manager and then turned around without asking anyone, was totally rude and said walk across the parking lot. I walked out of that place and burst into tears because I urinated all over myself and there’s nothing more embarrassing than that. I’ve never been so mortified in my Entire life. I unassigned the order because not only did I go to the restroom on myself, but I don’t even want to pick up an order from here with that kind of Customer service. I’m so incredibly embarrassed. I walked into black Bear diner, and they were so nice to me but the damage was done. I will never ever give my money to this place.
