Wow this place was absolutely amazing. The pizza was beyond delicious, the crust was thick and crunchy how I like it and there was basically a slab of sausage across the whole pizza. Amazing. The bartender was fabulous and charismatic. And the overall atmosphere of this place was wonderful. I really recommend the fried mushroom appetizer

Delicious pizza, awesome happy hr 3-5:30pm!

We happened to arrive during happy hour and what a great experience! We got deep dish and thin crust personal pizzas, meatballs, bruschetta, rumble in the jungle and malnati mule cocktails all for$5 each! What a great meal for a great price!

First time visit at this, Lou Malnati’s… Are welcome was incredible… The manager really enjoys his work… Enjoys customer service… And enjoys delivering a wonderful delicious flavorful product… My daughter and I came in for lunch had salad salads and the personal pizzas… They were piping hot the pizzas… And the salads were garden fresh… The atmosphere is awesome. The setting in the Neighbourhood is just perfect… I can’t wait to come back during warmer weather and sit outside and enjoy this wonderful restaurant… I highly recommended those that see my reviews. No I eat and only say positive things at the most wonderful of restaurants… Loved our lunch visit…

Since its our first time in Chicago we naturally had to try the deep dish pizza, and there is no better place to have one than Lou Malnati’s! They did not disappoint with the buttery crust and fresh toppings, it was the best introduction to deep dish pizza that we ever could have asked for. We got The Lou pizza and the sampler of appetizers! Highly recommend giving them a try if you are visiting Chicago for the first time or a local who just wants some good pizza!

There is NO way a deep dish is supposed to look like this – ordered carry out, this was my second time with this issue with very little sauce or cheese on the pizza. Straight bread. And we ordered deep dish. Such a disappointment.

I took my friends who were visiting from out of town to Lou’s this past Monday since they wanted to try deep dish pizza before they left (it was actually my first time as well).

Emily took care of us, and she was awesome! Incredibly attentive and helpful in terms of understanding the menu and providing reccos. The pizza was great too – not something I’d have often but the next time I get a craving for deep dish I’ll definitely stop by Lou’s. Shoutout to Emily for making the experience great – hope to come back soon.

I was born and raised in Chicago and am a huge fan of their Deep dish. A classic and the place I would recommend to all tourists.

Our server Emmanuel was super nice and attentive – he was great and made our experience wonderful even sold us on getting some wings. And he had a massive section but we didn’t notice any falter on his part.

Only down side is it was a little cold inside especially by the window.

Kyle was our server. My son, daughter and their significant others were there as well.
He did an awesome job waiting on us!

I’d recommend asking for him by name. You won’t be disappointed

I am someone who has ordered from Lou Malnati’s for the last 30 years and I’ve ordered from this location for the last 20. My delivery orders are usually very good but it is very upsetting when they send a driver fix no English at all and has no concept of using an intercom system that will call your phone. My order arrived on time and he called my phone and when I tried to explain that he had to use the intercom box that is right by the front door of my building, he just kept saying the door is closed the doors closed. I had to come to the front door come outside and collect the pizza from him. I even showed him the intercom box and how to use it but he just stared at me with a blank. I have no problem with someone with limited English skills delivering my order but someone with none is absolutely unacceptable. The only reason I gave three stars is because I love this pizza and was probably not order anywhere else for anytime soon.

This evening marked the first experience of my friend from Hawaii with Chicago deep dish pizza, as well as their initial encounter with Italian beef adorned with peppers.

I hail from the Northwest suburbs and have previously worked at Lou’s Pizza in the same area. While I appreciate the ambiance of this establishment, I must note that the servers seemed somewhat inattentive, despite the lack of a substantial customer base at the time.

The cuisine, however, was truly exceptional:
– The Italian beef with peppers and mozzarella, drenched in a savory gravy sauce, receives a commendable grade of B+, even though it’s not this restaurant primary goal it rep Chicago pretty well.
– The buttery crust, sausage, and deep-dish pizza were also noteworthy. If I were to indulge in deep-dish pizza, Lou’s Pizza with its cornmeal crust remains my top choice.

For those in the vicinity, this restaurant offers a pleasant and cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax with a beer and some pizza. If you happen to be visiting from out of town and are in search of a satisfying meal, this establishment comes highly recommended.
