We happened to arrive during happy hour and what a great experience! We got deep dish and thin crust personal pizzas, meatballs, bruschetta, rumble in the jungle and malnati mule cocktails all for$5 each! What a great meal for a great price!
Emily took care of us, and she was awesome! Incredibly attentive and helpful in terms of understanding the menu and providing reccos. The pizza was great too – not something I’d have often but the next time I get a craving for deep dish I’ll definitely stop by Lou’s. Shoutout to Emily for making the experience great – hope to come back soon.
Our server Emmanuel was super nice and attentive – he was great and made our experience wonderful even sold us on getting some wings. And he had a massive section but we didn’t notice any falter on his part.
Only down side is it was a little cold inside especially by the window.
He did an awesome job waiting on us!
I’d recommend asking for him by name. You won’t be disappointed
I hail from the Northwest suburbs and have previously worked at Lou’s Pizza in the same area. While I appreciate the ambiance of this establishment, I must note that the servers seemed somewhat inattentive, despite the lack of a substantial customer base at the time.
The cuisine, however, was truly exceptional:
– The Italian beef with peppers and mozzarella, drenched in a savory gravy sauce, receives a commendable grade of B+, even though it’s not this restaurant primary goal it rep Chicago pretty well.
– The buttery crust, sausage, and deep-dish pizza were also noteworthy. If I were to indulge in deep-dish pizza, Lou’s Pizza with its cornmeal crust remains my top choice.
For those in the vicinity, this restaurant offers a pleasant and cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax with a beer and some pizza. If you happen to be visiting from out of town and are in search of a satisfying meal, this establishment comes highly recommended.
