We initially went into this Lou Malnati’s location for the $5 Happy Hour specials but were immediately disappointed to see that they have raised these prices considerably. On the previous deal, we would order multiple appetizers, drinks, and pizzas. We settled on a single appetizer and two personal deep dish pizzas for this visit. The ravioli crisps were hardly worth it at $8.

The service was kind and professional, although it seemed a little rushed despite the pizzas taking a considerable amount of time to be served. The food was warm and delicious when it arrived. The ingredients were complementary of each other and everything tasted great.

Near the end of our visit, we noticed an ant coming from a stack of napkins that were brought to the table. We questioned the cleanliness of the napkin storage and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, I won’t be back for a while after the change in the Happy Hour menu.

Came here for the happy hour and our server was attentive. Before drinks were empty he was asking if we wanted a refill.

Now for the happy hour, 5 buck, drinks, limited apps and voice of personal. Can get an app a pizza and 2 beers for 20 bucks before tax and tip.

The food was hot and tasty, highly recommend this location.

I’ve dined in and carried out at this Lou’s. The pizza is absolutely delicious. My favorite are the personal pan pizzas, just the perfect amount for me without feeling guilty. The service is fast, efficient, and friendly with both carry out and dining in. It is a family friendly atmosphere and I feel even dining alone would be nice here as well. The food is fantastic You can tell the people working there like their jobs and know their customer service. Great place, great people, and great eats.

This was the best PIZZA I’VE EVER EATEN!!!!… The buttery crust, the sausage, cheese, and sauce was Chef’s Kiss!!!! (and I’m not exaggerating either) The service was exceptional!!! Our server (forgive me for forgetting your name) was the perfect gentleman. We ordered Calamari and Chicken wings for appetizers, everything was cooked to perfection! My family and I will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Overall, I had a very disappointing experience. I’m visiting from Georgia, but as a Chicago native, I was really looking forward to enjoying some authentic Chicago deep-dish pizza. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations.
The pizza arrived cold, almost as if it had been preassembled and simply reheated in the oven. On top of that, our waiter was absent for most of the meal-we had to ask the busser for drink refills.
I definitely will not be returning to this location.

You cannot beat their deep dish pizza. Instead of whole sausage being added, we asked for crumbled sausage which did not disappoint. I liked the room being clearly set up as separate rooms. Service was great.

Love it. Got the Bar b lou wings as appetizers. Kids had thin crust, I had deep dish with buttery crust will a Malnati salad toppings on the side to shadre withthe kids. Small size salad was still shareable. Family size is huge Big TVs to watch the game. Great flavor hostess sat us right away and great atmosphere throughout Waitress was A+ besides the minor mix up on the check at the end (Gave me someone else’s check) but all was good. Bathrooms were ok, not hospital cleanliness but usable soap was plenty and paper towels (Hands Free).

My family and I went to Lou Malnati’s today to celebrate before I go back to college.

The atmosphere had a somewhat nice ambience, with stained-glass portraits lining the backs of the eating area and decent crowds of people grubbing it up.

The service was solid, with our waiter checking on us multiple times and being very friendly.

The food, on the other hand, was subpar.

The pizza was pretty good and the salad was delicious, but the pasta is a never-again order. The crust was crispy, the dough was slightly sweet, and there were a decent number of toppings. The salad had a delicious, sweet, and tangy dressing and a lot of add-ins. But I could’ve made a better pasta at home for way cheaper.

The price in general was a bit over-the-top. The pizza was about 35 dollars, and the pasta was 15 dollars. For the portions, it was not worth it. But for a once in a while experience, it was decent.

At the end of the meal, I felt very full, but also somewhat lacking in quality. I recommend the pizza and salad, but the pasta left me wanting more from it.

While cooked well, for me the sauce was very watery and the sausage was bland. This has not beeny experience in the past, so maybe it was just a bad day.
