I’m done ordering from Lou’s. The quality is awful now and they never get my order correct. The deep dish pizza is not much thicker than a traditional thin crust and the toppings are scarce. My spinach pizza today was super bland and they gave me a pepperoni pizza instead of cheese. When I originally called to check on my order I was told it was already ready (15 minutes before the scheduled window) but when I arrived to pick it up, it wasn’t ready and I waited 15 minutes….only to get the wrong pizza.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience needs to be addressed. While the team appeared to be working quickly, the lack of customer service was very disappointing. The staff was not friendly, and their attitude toward customers was unacceptable.
We ordered two large deep-dish pizzas, one XL thin crust, and two family-size side salads. The salads were given to us in very small containers that were barely half full. When I politely asked about it, I was told they would have to charge me for more. That didn’t make sense considering we ordered family portions.
The bigger issue was the delay with our pizzas. We ordered ahead of time, yet people who arrived after us were receiving their orders first. After waiting about 15 minutes and noticing this, I asked someone to please check on the status of my order. Only then did they realize our pizzas hadn’t been started. From start to finish, it took over 30 minutes despite ordering in advance.
To make matters worse, even though the delay was on their end, they still wanted to charge extra for additional ranch dressing.
When you place a large order like that, you expect organization, accountability, and basic hospitality. This location truly needs coaching on customer service and what it means to properly serve and take care of people. Providing food is one thing — providing a positive experience is another.
I hope management and the franchise owner take this feedback seriously and work on improving the customer experience.

Famous doesn’t mean it’s good, out of curiosity l went for it and tried deep dish pizza as people are talking about, then wow are you serious !!! Melted rubber with dough and tomato , no teste at all ,even terrible with delivery because the cheese and the tomato spilled all over and mixed with the box that you may end up eating. And for god sake don’t put the plastic on top of it , heat and plastic are toxic .

we had a great night at Lou’s, the place was pretty busy despite the weather, and the staff here were really nice and friendly. Good deals on pizza and other dishes, really flavorful pizza, and I especially loved the sauce and the amount of toppings made for the best pizza I’ve had in a while. We really look forward to visiting again soon.

I have been eating Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza since 1974. I lived 5 blocks from the original location in Linclnwood for 25 years. Recently I have noticed a change in the taste. These days of rising costs of ingredients, I fear they have changed suppliers. The other thing is I’m told the pizzas sold at these carryout only locations are made from frozen dough as well as other frozen ingredients. I don’t think I will continue to purchase Malnati’s pizza anymore, it’s just way to expensive and if it doesn’t taste the same why bother.

Have not ordered from this location before. I have had Lou’s pizza a few times and was on the fence about ordering. I did have a good experience with Lou’s frozen pizzas from a fund raiser which was actually pretty awesome. Slightly disappointed with my order from here as I ordered lemon pepper boneless wings which did not have any taste of lemon or pepper at all which were very plain. I know you don’t order wings from a pizza place but figured I would give them a try. Also ordered a small pepperoni and cheese Pizza with extra pepperoni, cheese and the buttery crust. Seemed the pepperoni proportion was on the lighter side, cheese fair amount and also buttery crust was not so buttery. Could have been it was NYE and maybe people didn’t want to work that day.

The best deep dish Pizza i have ever eaten. Keep it up. I always go and order there special deep dish pizza which is all time favorite it is overloaded with toppings and now second favorite is there stuffed spinach bread. Its worth trying. Ample Parking available. Value for money. Always have leftover for my next day.

Amazing deep dish pizza and wings!!! We ordered two small deep dish pizzas (the lou and malnati classic) and an order of large wings with Buffalo sauce (we ate half the wings before my picture). Everything was hot and delicious! The staff were all so kind and just awesome checking out. I would definitely go back when I’m in town!
