I was really impressed and grateful for the amazing service and a heartfelt “God bless you” as we departed with our purchases. The doughnut I got was one of the best I’ve ever had because it was made, and served, with such kindness. Come for the doughnuts (and/or pasties, and/or espresso), leave with love.

Cozy little place. Loved that the agents in the realty in the same building cheerfully directed us to the correct door. Lou Lou is lovely. She informed us of all the possibilities and got us settled with our donuts and silverware and can’t out with our piping hot pasties and coffee. My husband really needs his coffee hot and she did a marvelous job of it, and then worried about me and my tendency to burn my mouth as I took the lid off my cup to let mine chill a bit.
The cake doughnuts were tender morsels of gently sweet happiness.
I’m glad she wanted us that the breakfast pasties were a full pound each as one filled both of us handily. The pastry was flaky, crisp and delicious and the filling generous and savory.
I’m so glad we came here, and could basically walk the trail along the river to get here. Lovely experience and I’d highly recommend breakfast here.

Wow. Just wow. We stopped for a quick breakfast at the recommendation of a local and we are glad we did. It’s a nice little place tucked in the back part of a building with a realty office. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. It felt like talking to family and we ended up visiting with Lou Lou for about 20 minutes. She’s fantastic and the place has a great history based on family support and family values. Plus, the pasties (pass-tees) have quite the history as well. We couldn’t have picked a better place to eat.

The women running this place are so warm, friendly, inviting and are top notch quality people. They are passionate about service and the quality of their products. Incredible place! While visiting Deadwood, I wanted to try something local. I love supporting small businesses and this restaurant was highly recommended! First of all, lots of options from their famous pasties to sweets and coffee! Everything is made fresh! The pasties are so fluffy and they are LARGE! I underestimated the size and was full after just eating half of it! I talked with the owners, this is a family run business, and they were so sweet and they really care about their customers and providing the best experience! Give them a chance, you will not be disappointed!

Stopped here while walking to the park in deadwood. After painting one of the local homes. This place is so cute!!!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about Deadwood. They grew up in the area. I ordered 6 donuts. We tried one and went back up for more. The donuts are homemade! Other food option’s available. We also ordered a lotus all natural drink and a strawberry banana smoothies! Stop her for a quick bite or hang out inside or on the patio !!! ( the Carmel and cinnamon rolls are HUGE)! 10/10 – I also bought the white owl on the wall. This is also handmade by a local!

I am happy our hotel ran out of food and coffee because otherwise we would have never found this gem! It is a very cozy nook near downtown Deadwood. The lady who helped us was so amazing and friendly. She was so caring and sweet about how she prepared our drinks. I wish we would have gotten some food because the pasties sounded so good! We did try to go back on Saturday, but they were closed. However, if you are in the Deadwood area I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The service was perfection and the coffee was even better!

We found this place by chance and it didn’t look promising from the outside but what a gem! We enjoyed a freshly baked, handmade – and enormous – pasties that were absolutely delicious. It’s small with only 3 tables so we feel fortunate to have had lunch here.

We tried a few different pasties and shared them all. Everybody was happy with their food. We also had a cinnamon roll and shared that. It was above average and the frosting was way above average. Looks like everything is made in house and has a family owned vibe. Nice friendly people.

The only change I would make is to be in a larger building! This is a Christian family owned business, and it’s easy to see they really love serving quality food and beverages to their customers. In fact, the customers become more like family to the staph. I had the pleasure meeting the grandma owner Lou, as well as one of her daughters. If you get there early enough, you can get a free dollar donut with your coffee. Try one of the humongous delicious cinnamon rolls or sticky buns – they are big enough to share! They also have coffee beans that you can purchase, but be forewarned that you will need to pay separately, and card is preferred for bean purchase.
