On a business trip and ate here for dinner. The service was fast and attentive. The food was delicious! The absolute best tom kha soup I’ve ever had. I also tried the shumai, chicken hibachi with lo mein and a taro tea.

Ordered four sushi rolls – ended up throwing them out. Two of them were not what I even ordered (see pic). Only one of the rolls was somewhat edible. living in Louden being over a 40 minute drive away and the store closed by the time I got home , I just ended up getting fast food. I also ordered hibachi for my kid, it hardly even looked like hibachi – It was edible only because of the sauce. Really good Thai tea tho I’ll say that. Crab raccoons were so so . I personally do not think their sushi is worth it .

Pretty good little place. 2nd Thai place I’ve tried in Athens and it my 2nd favorite . The heat isn’t there like I like it even though I got a level 6 and the Pad Thai was a bit dry for my tastes. Not the best in my opinion but everyone has their own tastes. I’m definitely not a snob but the quality was just not super great. But, I love the variety of the menu and I haven’t tried it more than once so maybe it was an off day. Maybe I’ll give it another go but as far as first impressions, it wasn’t spectacular.

We loved it . I can’t have several food items and worked real hard on finding something i can eat. Very clean too. New people have taken it over so its better then before and very nice person there. Good food. Went today after they closed to fix up stuff . Very friendly people working there good food and stuff. We just went back for my birthday and had the best dish ever.

We enjoyed New Years Eve dinner at Lotus. We had the crunchy chicken , hibachi shrimp and chicken and county crunch crab sushi roll! Each trip to Lotus is better and better! Also, there was gifts for the kids for Christmas which made these two happy! Great service.

Food was FANTASTIC and there were no wait times. Service was really fast, attentive, and friendly. Large portions and fresh food. You pay for what you get. (Its a bit on the more spendy side, but you get lots of amazing food.)

Food tastes good and is more affordable than most Thai restaurants. They have many vegan and vegetarian options. I’m glad we have this place in Athens. Dish at top of picture is Pad Thai with tofu. Bottom dish is Drunken Noodles with tofu.

My first time here. Great tasting. Very busy even for the two servers. Never came back to check on refreshing drinks. Popular Thai restaurant in Athens. I plan to go back in the next week at for a dinner time review. My entree was brought to table first. Waited 5 minutes for girlfriend’s lunch special to be brought so we could eat lunch together. I do recommend this restaurant.

I’m kind a Thai snob And for Athens, Tennessee I am thoroughly amazed with this place. There is nothing like this in the area. The food is awesome and everyone that works there is so friendly. I’ve had great food in major cities, but I’m shocked that this place is so good in such a small town. Lotus stands up to the great ones in the major cities. I read a review where they don’t give Enough heat. Just explain to them the amount of heat and they work with you. On a one to 10 scale I prefer about a 15. You just have to tell them. If you dine in, they will bring the heat on the side and you could make it a 30 if you want kudos to this restaurant. I would expect this in Asheville, Charlotte, Atlanta, but not Athens. You guys rock. Don’t forget the extra wasabi!
