Lotus Thai is a true hidden gem in the heart of St. Thomas! From the moment you walk into the cozy, quaint atmosphere, you’re greeted with a warm smile that sets the tone for a great meal. The wontons were a standout—plump, flavorful, and wrapped in a pastry that hit that elusive ‘perfect crunch’ without being too hard. The spring rolls followed suit, generously filled and fried to golden perfection. I especially loved the dipping sauce; it was beautifully balanced and tart without being overly salty. For roughly $20, the value for this combo is unbeatable. I’ll definitely be back!

This was a great experience and a really tasty meal. One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve eaten at in Canada. Really great but simple and clear selection of food at very reasonable prices. The staff here were also incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is delicious.the spring rolls are meat from scratch as is all the food. They also have some delicious snacks for sale in the room to the right of the entrance. Definitely worth a visit.

Most delicious, most succulent, most omg Thai food! I am absolutely in love with the flavours. We had the Cashew Chicken and Pad Thai…they didn’t disappoint to say the least.
We also bought a pack of the cookies at the counter and those were also flavoured nicley and had a sweet crisp to them.
We will return for sure. Beautiful place, very very kind attentive waitress and legendary Thai food. Can’t go wrong!

I have never received a meal so quickly after ordering! Food was delicious, ample portion size. We enjoyed a quiet dinner with family here; the only diners that evening since the restaurant does most of its business as takeout. Service was non-intrusive but timely.

When I entered with my co-worker, the server instantly came to our service. She was soft-spoken, kind, and helped us get a seat. I didn’t know what to get, so I got what my co-worker got: a soup. When I had the first sip of the soup, I could instantly tell there were a lot of flavors; the chicken was perfectly cooked. The entire meal was really well-portioned; it was not too much and not too little. The atmosphere was giving off a peaceful feeling.
I do recommend coming here. If you want a nice small diner with some really good food, come here.

I would usually wait till the next day however the Lotus Thai Restaurant in St Thomas is quite the place to eat. This might be on par with the sweet onion bistro in London, another outstanding eatery. Great service and ambiance. I was shocked not just impressed. One side is an executive waiting area complete with Budda, Christmas tree and nic nacks for your home…great stocking stuffers. The other side fine dinning with a potential of serious romance. It would also be a spot around Christmas that you and 20 friends could go there put some tables together and have a Christmas party or outstanding festival celebration. The food..OH MY GOODNESS Santa! That’s how it makes you feel. Their Chicken Pad Thai was to kill for. My better half is a Pad Thai expert and Lotus Thai receives ‘in the top three ever’! High praise from her most definitely. I am recommending at least once during Christmas take someone special to the Lotus Thai Restaurant St Thomas. Your cheque book and family will thank you. We made a stop here after getting a recommen and checking out the other reviews and I’m glad we did. Service was quick, beer was cold and the food was absolutely delicious. The reviews aren’t lying about the spring rolls, they are fresh and tasty. We also got the pad thai, lotus fried rice and golden curry – everything was hands down some of the best and freshest Thai food I’ve had in a long time. If you’re in St. Thomas or just driving by, it’s worth it to stop in.
