Visited Lotus Thai and tried Pad Thai Chicken and Garlic Chicken. Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The staff was warm, attentive, and made the experience delightful. Highly recommend for great food and excellent service!

We had originally ordered the crispy pork belly, but were told they were out and we were offered the Lao sausage instead. This was the portion we received of the Lao sausage and we were charged $29.95 for it. The $2 discount came from the pork belly dish costing $27.50, while the lao sausage cost $29.95. If you’re going to charge that much for 5-1 inch pieces of deep fried sausages, I expect the portion to be more than this. Also, the sticky rice we were served with it was microwaved. Sticky on outside but dry on the inside. We were definitely ripped off. They charge for parties larger than 5 just so people large groups are aware. Food had no flavor. Portion sizes was small for everything we ordered. It was small enough for everyone to take a bite from each dish and finish the meal because it cost us an arm.

Went here on a whim, and the food was DELICIOUS! Very high quality. I saw some others mentioning high prices, but for me it was so worth it. We got m received good sized portions, and the flavor was perfect. I wish we had this back home! Not to mention the owner/chef was so kind and checked on us many times. We ordered the chicken satay appetizer, pineapple fried rice, and the crispy pork belly. I can’t remember what the green syrup flavored green tea was, but I swapped out the half and half for coconut milk and it reminded me of a coconut shaved ice. So good! I hope they continue to do well

I fell in luv with that lunch! Had the Fresh Rolls in a vegetarian version, and they were excellent! Fresh, refreshing, and perfect balanced in their ingredients.

Delicious Thai food in Redding. Ordered for take out, staff was very helpful. Tried various curry options like red and green curry with chicken and shrimp. Pad Thai and garlic noodles are flavourful and must try dishes here. The place is well decorated with traditional Thai decor. The food quantity is good normally for two people to share. So try multiple dishes. We ordered large rice but it wasn’t enough for two people, so either they gave us regular cup of rice or wrong order, so check with the staff and order rice accordingly. Overall, great place for Thai lovers!

Where should I start? They are first closed between the most busiest hours in the afternoon for an hour. We walked in. We sat ourselves. No silverware, no drinks, no napkins, no nothing. The waiter comes barely speaks English. We asked for iced tea and never got. Food portions were okay. The pork belly the chicken satay was dry. In the atmosphere, I don’t think they know what they’re doing yet with it. It’s going so many different ways they need to figure out which way they’re going. Now once the food was completely mixed together it was good. Wasn’t amazing. It was good and it is way overpriced for the portion size. My personal opinion is give him a couple months to figure out what they’re doing and then I’ll have another review soon. Until then, try to stay away.

The most authentic and flavorful Thai food in shasta county. The chef puts so much love, care and presentation into all their dishes. They have a unique flavor profile that is different than the other Thai restaurants in town. I notice how they cook with detail and precision- making their meat flavorful but soft and tender. Their quality of meat is much higher than the other Thai restaurants who often have low quality meats and over cook their meats making them hard and dry- but not this place! They really put a lot of effort into their cooking. Their soups are absolutely delicious and super flavorful, mouthwatering. I got the Ka Soy and it was soo good. Flavor profile was different than other Thai Ka soy but that’s what made it unique and flavorful.
I also recommend the Ka poon it’s more like curry. And the Guay Tio Nam Sai soup- WOW! Chef specialty that really has so much unique flavor and so comforting to eat. Pad Thai is awesome and noodles cooked to perfection, flavor balanced. So are the fresh spring rolls, they were huge and best ones I had in town. Huge menu and There are a lot of good mid range items for $18, you just have to take the time to look. They have some higher quality more expensive items too. Also the service their is A+. The waiter is so loving and caring about the people who come in and she also gives us a memorable, friendly and caring experience. She even hand made us fresh springs rolls that are not on the menu, and made them huge with a delicious sauce. She also presented it very nicely. That’s just an example of her thoughtfulness and willingness to go the extra mile. This is a small restaurant but give them a chance, they really care about their businesses. Thanks for blessings us with such good food. Much love.
