The SF Bay Area is home to many great cafes, diners, and traditional eateries. Today I dined at Lotus a family owned Palestine eatery. The menu is delicately broad but I knew the Schwarma would be a home run because the dish universally is made the same. Lotus however, offers a juicy meat filled Schwarma with fresh crunch greens. The pickled vegetables were a great compliment. I will definitely return when I am in San Bruno, California

Wow. So I think this is one of my new favorite spots. Amazing shawerma, I got the lamb and beef, so tender and juicy. Tried chicken too, perfect flavor. And baklava slice on top was also phenomenal. They have a great assortment of desserts as well. Great quality food and service.

A neighborhood treasure for Middle Eastern food. Casual dining. Delicious fresh falafels, kabobs and salad. Plates displayed nicely. Convient to El Camino Real just a short distance from the 380 and SFO. Definitely a place to remember for future meals.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They didn’t rush us in ordering and took the time to explain the dishes and their differences. The food was fresh tasting, filling and the portion size was worth the price. They had traditional music playing and you can learn more about Lotus Falafel and its humble beginning. It did come with pita bread, hummus, house salad, and what you see in the photo. It was beautiful presentation.

Unbelievable Shwarma and middle eastern style food. Counter order. The hummus is some of the best I have ever had and is so smooth and creamy….not typical….AWESOME. The rice is made family style with the cooked meat juices poured over it. Great prices too….a full family tray of all types of meat is on $95.

Friendly little Mediterranean spot in downtown San Bruno! The food was flavorful and the portions were really generous. I got the beef/lamb kofta plate and it came with 2 types of rice, hummus and salad. So. Much. Food.

Service, food, flavor, all there. We ordered the shawerma platter and a chicken shawerma wrap and it was spot on. The rice, that even tasted great so keep up the good work. I remember Lotus did Palestine Culture day festival and they had 6 shawerma machines going at the same time, it was amazing. Eat@lotus
