The Sweet and Sour chicken is the one I go for ever time the most I think. Can be a little on the dry side sometimes, but it’s good.
This place is a really good option if you want Chinese Food and you want it to go. Just don’t expect a huge amount of choices. It’s a very small place with a limit amount of staff. Whatever you do though, don’t try to swing by during the super peek hours … especially drive thu. You might be waiting in a line for a long time. They will come and take your order by walking to your car which saves some time but man … I had one day I was out there for 20 mins. It was fine … I knew better then to swing by during dinner but still sucked.

I have been coming to this restaurant for YEARS. I swear by the cashew chicken. I used to not like Chinese food but as soon as my mom brought home sweet and sour chicken from here I loved it. Now, their orange chicken is not the best but do not stop coming here just because of that. They have such good general chicken and beef and broccoli! The people there are always so nice, and the restaurant is pretty clean! Me and my friends always eat here when we want to go out. I don’t live here anymore but whenever I’m back in town I am SURE to stop by! I have probably eaten here over a hundred times and will continue to do so. I have never found a restaurant that compares to this place, and if I were to have a last meal it would be the cashew chicken from here. Make sure if you are eating inside, to grab some egg drop soup because it is an essential, and so very good! There is almost no wait as well. The food comes out almost as soon as you finish a bowl of soup, and sometimes not even! I cannot express how much of a good place this is. If you try something you don’t like, please give another dish a chance. It is so well priced, and absolutely delicious. It is a staple to fort Scott and deserves to get so much business. If you are passing through and want to stop somewhere for lunch and don’t want McDonald’s or Taco Bell, THIS IS THE PLACE. I would eat here every day if I could. This place is worth it!

My orange chicken was half sauce and somehow still bland, no orange flavor at all. It looked like soup. the last piece of chicken I tried tasted of cigarette, so I didn’t finish it and neither will my dog. there’s no crab in the crab rangoon, it’s a cheese wonton. the brown rice was suspiciously good, like white rice colored with broth. I know there’s not a lot to compare it to around here, but my meal was significantly worse than something microwaveable from the freezer aisle.

Fast service, good flavor. Ordered the spicy chicken, it was not spicy at all but tasted good. Rice was good and the crab rangoon very good. Overall, satisfied with the amount of food for the price.

The orange chicken was wonderful. Not overcooked. Crab ragoon was great. 3 stars for the fried rice. Bland and not the best fried rice I have eaten by far. It’s my only complaint about the food and if you dine in, you get a free cup of soup with your meal. Service was friendly and when we got to the fort from this location to eat our lunch while enjoying Pokemon community day, everything in the bag was covered in orange sauce. We ate it anyway but this warranted the 2 star difference for this establishment. Would return for the orange chicken and general chicken another time and this time…we will try it eating in.

This place is probably the best drive-thru Chinese restaurant my husband and I have been to! The chicken has always been extremely fresh and crispy no matter what time we visit. We like the general and sesame chicken the most. Flavor is delicious and you get a large portion of food. Their rice and crab Rangoon are yummy, too. Service is fast and friendly. We waited about 10 minutes total in the drive-thru line. We will be back!

The staff was very friendly and the prices are incredible. They have happy hour from 6-7 where Crab Rangoon is free as is soup with a dine-in purchase. Both the hot & sour and egg drop soup were excellent. We ordered moo goo gai pan and chicken lo mein for our entrees. The lo mein was amazing. Maybe The best lo mein we’ve ever eaten. The moo goo, however, was far from good. This is the only reason I took away a star. It tasted like a funky chicken and gravy. We’ll return, but would not recommend trying the moo goo.

Lotus has been fairly consistent, which is what one looks for in a restaurant – we want what we order to taste like what we expect it to taste like. The chicken is all white meat and the flavors are consistent. Unfortunately, the last three times we’ve been, our order was messed up. Obviously, we keep going back but I’d suggest checking your order before you pull away from the window!
