Started with the shrimp spring rolls. It came with 2 which my husband was curious about because he thought there would be 4 but they were a pretty good size and were perfect for an appetizer. They tasted great – personally I think the peanut sauce gave the fish the extra shine. There was something inside that gave a slight crunch too and I was a big fan.

My husband had the braised pork belly and he finished it pretty quick. He was debating between that and getting pho but after he ate his food he said he definitely made the right choice.

I had the honey chicken. The flavor was delicious. It was a TINY bit dry but the flavor made up for it. I added a little of the juice from the braised pork and it helped put some moisture back into it. Even saying that, I would still recommend the dish.

We plan to be back in the future.

The place is very cool and cute. You can tell a lot of thought went into the atmosphere and decorations.

The food is very salty. Every single dish was so salty. Depending on what you get the saltiness might be acceptable. I would probably recommend getting the clear soup, it’s so simple that it’s a safe option.

I don’t know if it was the dinner rush, but the service was incredibly slow and we had to ask for everything. They were all friendly and helpful nonetheless

Also, the water they provide tastes filtered so that’s a plus

Food is really good! Service is friendly, although could feel a little slow at times. The bamboo pork wasn’t my favorite, but everything else is delicious. The Vietnamese coffee martini is yummy too!
Happy hour apps are a great deal!

Went to eat at the new Ro on Oak and were totally disappointed to find out they were out of food, so we walked down to Lotus and what a pleasant surprise. The service was awesome, the drinks were unique and the food was so fresh and yummy. Will definitely be back. Hope Roanoke will try it out even if you think you won’t like Vietnamese food give it a try you will be happy you did. I took photos I’ll share but we got wrapped up digging into them! ❤️ only complaint is I was really looking forward to trying the sour soy sauce and they were all out.

I really enjoyed this place. We ordered banh mi, pork belly, and pho.
The service was pretty good considering there was a large group that got in maybe 5 min before us.
Otherwise, at lunchtime on Wednesday, it wasn’t crazy busy.
Servers were nice, and the food quality was very good. The bread for the banh mi and the pho ingredients were very good.
The pork belly was like slightly less burned burnt ends.
I can’t speak to it’s authenticity, but I suspect it’s not that far off.

Visiting the area from Flower Mound TX and found this gorgeous Vietnamese restaurant We love it right at the moment entering the door! The decoration mades us thinking we are in Hoi An Vietnam! A little of original Vietnam town in the heart of Fort Worth. The service is excellent! The foods are placed beautifully on the dishes! The taste is very authentic and good! Prices are okay!
Overall we enjoy and glad to find the hidden gem! We will be back when in the area and highly recommend Lotus Cusine!

Today we tried a new Vietnamese restaurant close to home called Lotus Cuisine.

Wanted to like this spot since it is so close to home but unfortunately was disappointed.

I will preface that tonight was the grand opening and it was packed.

Let’s start off with at least the Pros of this restaurant.

Decor is great and the atmosphere was good.

Ice coffee was really good and came in
an interesting glass bottle.

The banh cuon was delicious.

Now for the Cons:

Service was lackluster at best. We walked in and asked for a table for two. The server who checked us in took us to a table and started to clean it off for us to sit. Then stops half way and just walks away. We stood there waiting, until another server came over and asked if we needed help. We told him the other gentlemen was cleaning the table and just left. So he continued to clean the table and seated us. Gave us the menu which is limited at this time due to the grand opening today. We ordered several dishes to try out. We got their Lotus Pho, Banh Cuon, Pork eggroll, Look Lac Beef(Shaken Beef) and Vietnamese ice coffee. Once our food came no one ever came back to check in on us. We had to flag people down just to get our check. Now this is normally ok since they were busy with their grand opening, but the owners and their friends and family and staff were sitting at the table right next to us. The staff were too busy chatting up and taking shots instead of checking on their customers.

Lotus Pho-small size, they over cooked the raw steak as though they cooked it in the actual broth pot then placed it in the bowl to serve.

Look Lac Beef(Shaken Beef)-It was NOT Shaken Beef at all. It was more like beef stew(Bo Kho) than anything without the stew and flavor. My son and I took one bite and just pushed it aside.

Overall the price is above average for below average food and service.

Might have been the best Pho I have ever had. I didn’t even need to add any siracha or fish sauce. The broth was soooo good!!! I also tried the pork egg rolls and green tea. So good. The atmosphere is really cute too. They did a great job with the Decor! I will be back!

Highly recommend ! The food is delicious, I heard they make the pho broth from scratch and they were right, I can taste the broth being homemade. I really enjoyed the appetizers we ate! I never tried black fungus before, but their Ban Cuon Pork was really delicious and my favorite ! The Vietnam Mini Pancakes (Banh Knot) was also good, i would get it again when I comeback.

My friend ordered the Look Luk Beef (Shaken Beef) and it was really delicious too! Glad they recommended it as it did not disappoint.

I don’t see a lot of high end vietnamese restaurants like this establishment, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how well decorated the place is. I know for sure I’ll come back!

Wow! This place is amazing. It’s all brand new with nice ambience and clean. The food was great and very reasonable. If you like desserts the Cotton Cheese Cake or the Coffee Cake is a real treat. Lite and not too sweet.
