Awesome restaurant, has been serving the community for over thirty years. It was closed for a while for renovations, and it’s finally open. The place looks great, with an open concept and a clean, inviting look. The service was excellent. We had Nick L serving us, and he and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. Now let’s talk food, we ordered the wonton soup and Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, and Rock Shrimp, they were delicious. That was followed by the Mongolian Steak and the Eggplant and Shrimp w/Garlic Sauce. Everything was excellent, I am very happy to o have them back in business.

10/10 would absolutely recommend! I was able to go there and enjoy an entirely gluten free meal off of their gluten free menu! I had sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, fried rice and a peanut butter bomb dessert all gluten free! Everything was incredible I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Michael for your hospitality!

Visited for the first time, this Asian restaurant features Chinese and Japanese fare.
Located in Farmingdale, it has limited free parking directly behind the resturant or park in the metered village lot.
The restaurant has a full length bar and booth tables.
The servers are attentive and the food comes out timely.
The menu features a good variety of options, that allows you to mix Chinese and Japanese foods together.
Sampled the Roast duck bun. This is two buns folded with duck slices in between. Had wanted to try the roast pork buns, but they were out.
The options of the usual variety of sushi rolls are there and are freshly prepared.
For the entree, tried the Mongolian steak. It was fried beef in a rich sauce with mushrooms. The other entree was the hibachi chicken and shrimp. This was accompanied but vegetables. The options of white, brown or fried rich can go with your meal. Extra charge on the fried rice.
The bar has a good selection of liquors and beers, in addition to soft beverages.
While it may seem a bit pricey, the food is very good and it is really on par with the cost of eating out.
I would recommend this restaurant and good back to try their other items on the menu.

Attention Sushi Snobs! This gem has the freshest premium grade sushi on Long Island. I’ve tried almost every sushi place in Suffolk and Nassau Counties and this by far is the number #1 place! The Chineese menu items are prepared from old school secret authentic recipes which will cause your taste buds to become alive with flavors that entice and cause your tongue to throw a party for your mouth! The entire restaurant is beautifully appointed with decor that will take you on a trip to your fantasy vacation! The entire facility is immaculate and cared for. The hosts and servers take pride and it shows with their warm friendly personalities! The Bar is a great start for date night with classic cocktails like Zombies and Mei tai’s along with anything you can think of. The drinks are tasty and strong and the pricing is extremely fair. They do daily happy hours also. High quality, great hosts, immaculate interior and the tastes that you crave. If you haven’t been here yet what are you waiting for! My new true love for Sushi, Chineese food and adult cocktails!

We came here for a coworkers birthday. Service was fantastic. Probably the best Ginger dressing I have ever had. We ordered the main street roll, crazy roll and the million dollar roll. All were fresh and delicious. Then we were treated to a new dessert tic tac toe. So good. Thank you Michael. We will be back soon.

Lotus Chinese Restaurant in Farmingdale is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh and flavorful, with generous portions. The sushi Ferris wheel is such a fun touch, and their General Tso’s chicken is a must-try. The service is friendly and attentive, making for an all-around great dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Chinese cuisine!

Manager literally fumed and raged in my face after my pick up order wasn’t ready an hour after I ordered.
I showed up at 6:14 to pick up my moms food which is what it said on the receipt the girl at the counter snarked at me and said it wouldn’t be ready until 7 atleast.
Wasn’t even my order was picking up for my elderly mother who can’t go out in the freezing cold.
When I say my family has been supporting LG since the early 2000’s I mean it even post renovation. Idc how bad of a day the manager was having yelling at a calm customer and causing an embarrassing scene is terrible and we will NEVER give them a dollar ever again.
Seriously. Such a miserable experience. I would recommend everyone steer clear of this place.
