Pros-
1. Kids both had a basic pasta and tomato sauce one with meatballs, now where I live back in NJ we have had a many meatballs, I have a lot of highly rated Italian restaurants around me and I have dined in a handful of Italian restaurants in NYC, everyone does it in there own recipe and meat mix, this meatball in the pasta was good- not the best for me, but good. The pasta was well cooked.
My wife had the clams and linguini, she liked it, it was good.
I had the chicken parmigiana, big piece of chicken, good sauce, chicken was good a tad chewy. But overall good.
Cons-
1.No garlic bread available to order for a starter, and we walked on to eat around 5pm on a Sunday evening.
Joanne was our server and she was amazing and funny. We will be back, can’t wait to try something else.
Hint : After lunch/dinner, take a walk around the beautiful North End to burn some calories for a cannoli.
I decided to try it for the second time, because the first time was not very impressive.
I showed up around 8:50 pm. The first thing the waitress said to us was that you only have 3 minutes to order food since the kitchen closes at 9.
At 9:00 we place our order.
Nothing bad so far. It is understandable that the schedule must be respected. We ordered 3 plates of pasta. In just 3 minutes the order was ready.
How is it possible that pasta is ready in 3 minutes??? The waiter only had the mind to take our plate away, without asking us at all if there was anything we didn’t like or if everything was okay.
at 9:25 pm we got up from the table because no dishes were left on our table
on top of all the tip was included in the price without our knowledge.
PS: at least don’t let the waiter serve with a hoodie, it looks very ugly.
EDIT:The pasta was so overcooked that it felt like I was eating mashed potatoes.
Another EDIT:
Since you asked for an edit of my review, I am more than happy to give you another answer.
Can you tell me how it is possible that you have so many negative reviews, and in none of them do you have any fault? Not a single one. You are infallible. You are unique. The only case in the world where a business or an individual does not make any mistakes in life.
I would sincerely ask you to change the chef and teach him how to cook pasta correctly.
From then on, in your side, the pasta should be called AL DENTE.
AFTER ALL you should turn on the heat, dont be so cheap .buy some new uniforms and turn the HEAT ON ,cheap boss.
SERVICE: manager Daniella gave us a warm greeting and later took a few minutes to answer our questions about the history of this long-time, upscale room that stays faithful to old-style service standards (linen, fresh silverware each course) and traditional entrees. Personally I love the more elegant service standards, a clean fork elevates the entire experience from seating to dining! Brianna and Moe provided discreet and timely check backs, refilling water, etc. It was flawless.
