What a cute little place. The service was so nice, the food was excellent! We will definitely be back because all 3 of us had several menu items that we wanted to try. I got the hot beef brisket-loaded and delish! Our table also had the John candy burger and the smoke on the water burger which they said was amazing. I can’t wait to try more!

My fiancé and I came here for a quick lunch date. We have been coming here since it was Old Capital Tavern. The service was good and the food was delicious. I ordered the shrimp po’boy with fries and he ordered the BOM Hall of Fame burger with fries. These dishes were delectable and had generous portions.

Got the app of Garlic Cheese curds, they were yummy. Perfect flavor of garlic & the side sauce was a good addition. The entree was a brisket stroganoff which had a rich sauce with thick noodles, plenty of chunks of brisket and a couple pieces of toasted garlic bread. Very good! I had a Orange whip cocktail which was acceptable. Dessert was Andes mint cheesecake. OMG, DELICIOUS! A cookie of people got the Mushroom Swiss Smashburgers. They said they were very good. The rest of our table were very happy with their food. Service was slow, I think they were short-staffed. The wait staff was pleasant though but not attentive enough.

Great place and amazing food, decorated to the nines for Christmas. I had the smoked porky pig it was delicious my aunt had their hotel California burger with sweet potato fries and said it was amazing, staff and service are very friendly and on the ball. All around a great place to stop and grab a bite

Hidden gem in Sauk Rapids. I missed the main entrance and walked in from the side of the building. The staff welcomed me and it only got better from there. The waiter was fantastic and helped me pick out an appetizer, which was the lettuce wraps, perfect spice and right portion size. I ate 1/2 and chose the chicken. We had a reservation for 5:15pm and left by 7:10pm. There were 6 of us, with 2 burgers, a fish sandwich, wings and lettuce wraps. Everyone loved their meals. I look forward to my next meal.

Surprising find. My son and I ate here last night. We were just looking for a quick bite after some hockey at the MAC before we headed home. We didn’t have high expectations. Turns out this place was more than typical bar grub. Great menu! We had the poke bowl and duck wontons for appetizers. Absolutely delicious! And, the smash burger and Reuben for entrees. Lots of other delicious options on the menu. The food was hot, fresh and quick. Leah was our server and was excellent! Comfortable high-top tables. Very clean and quiet. Definitely going back!

I had the brisket pot pie twice while staying in St. Cloud. Best pot pie I’ve ever had in my life, no question. The duck wontons, thai shrimp, smoke on the water burger, and the mango reaper wings were all great as well.
Great draft selection too.
If I’m ever back in MN, I will go well out of my way to revisit.

I am all about local and small businesses, as I am a manager for a small family owned business in Superior, WI. We wanted somewhere that would be welcoming and have good food. As a foodie, I was happy to stumble across this place. The only thing that I would have done differently is the burger had too much seasoning on it and was very salty.
Everything else was wonderful!
Our server was absolutely delightful as well.

Had a fantastic meal – good service, cute place. My 10 year old decided it’s the best restaurant he’s ever been to – had the bbq boneless wings & a Big Matt burger. Fish fry was excellent also.

This was the perfect place to meet with a friend for lunch. The menu had a good selection the wait staff were all friendly and attentive. We sat and chatted for hours and the staff still checked on us. My meal was very fresh and the fries were really good.
