Went “leaf peeping” up the Grand Mesa this week with friends and went to Cedaredge to grab lunch. The Lost Grill is right on Main Street, clean inside and friendly service. My friends and I all got burgers and they were excellent!
Nice drink selection too.
Jamie was our server, she was awesome.
We will be back!

Had a wonderful time with my mom here. Atmosphere was busy but not too loud. Very comfortable. Our server was very nice & attentive. The food
Thai Shrimp- definitely a must try. A lot of fried shrimp covered in a peanut- sweet chili sauce over a bed of coleslaw. So delicious!! I liked that they gave a good amount of Shrimp, definitely enough for 2-3 people to share.
House Salad was a good size
Fish & Chips- I really like the batter. It’s not too thick. You can actually taste the fish & not just batter. Coleslaw is good really super creamy. Might be a little too creamy, I like my slaw with a crunch & it just has a lot of dressing.
Shrimp & Creamy Grits- it was the Special for the night. This is one of my favorite dishes to look for & very hard to find. The shrimp was cooked perfectly & the sauce was so good! The flavors & textures were wonderful. Now the Grits were ok. I liked they used a “stone” grit it’s thicker & coarser than Grits you find in most restaurants. Definitely a good fall/winter grit. But it was lacking. They were creamy but bland.
I definitely will go back when my schedule allows me to.

Pretty busy place and really good food. They claim they are good at burgers and that was a really good burger. My friend ordered the tacos and wished they were corn tortillas. Other friend got the green chili burger and she was glad the chili wasn’t spicy at all. I loved the fries! Staff was casually friendly, had to wait awhile for drink refills though. Overall a nice place with good food.

Amazing fish and chips on Wednesday, so returned for a burger today. Excellent burger. The beet salad is spectacular as well.
This place is filled with staff who are attentive, friendly and cheerful.
Can’t believe I never knew about this gem, but they’ve definitely got a new regular.

I like the way they rehabilitated the building and restaurant. We enjoyed a Sunday’s lunch and watched the Broncos game last weekend. The restaurant is wonderfully decked out in the Christmas Spirit. Come down and enjoy a nice meal and some good company. The prices are great and will fill you up. Come and enjoy it for yourself.

Probably the best burger I’ve had on the western slope. We love stopping in after coming down off the mesa. Great place!

The food was great. I went with a group of friends. The restaurant was busy and they squeezed 5 of us in a 4 top, which was just fine. The servers were friendly.

Good food. I ordered the shrimp tacos which came w refried beans & chips/salsa. They used flour tortilla but still tasty. I asked for some rice on the side which was cilantro white rice. Good. The interior of the place was nice and simple. Not too dark. Overall expected price for the food and worth it.. only thing is I found the refried beans weren’t that tasty but that was a small thing. Friendly & prompt staff!

I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed the Lost Mesa Grill already, but we’ve always liked the food, ambiance and service. If you ever get a window table during a snowstorm, you’ll be smitten with romance. Our son, a chef in Denver, said the stuffed mushrooms are the best he’s ever had. And if prices are increasing, so be it. We all have to make tough choices. But I’ve seen much higher prices for lower quality. My only complaint is that this restaurant, like so many Cedaredge businesses, is closed Sundays and Mondays. But, who knows, after a few more rich boomers move in, perhaps the owners will see their way to opening at least on Sunday.
