I don’t know where to start… I guess first off, some of the pictures are halfway way through our meal. The food was so good!! It was hot, fresh, and delicious.

Old fashioned diner filled with local people. Food was delicious. Service was great. They did take their time making my food so don’t expect a fast meal. However for me, I’m never in a hurry so I wasn’t inconvenienced. Plus my food was so good!! Totally worth the wait.

Great hidden gem to grab a WONDERFUL piece of pie. Try the pecan pie, you will not regret it! Ask for some ice cream on top

Visited for breakfast Sunday 11/6/22 after seeing how busy the place was during a town festival on Saturday 11/5/22. A real hill country gem, the café was very cute and staff was friendly. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry. We weren’t and enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Giving 4 stars only because we waited almost an hour for our food. We arrived at 9:30 and by 10:15 they were out of biscuits and running low on bacon. Luckily I got the last delicious biscuit of the day. They were also transitioning to the Sunday lunch items by 10:30 so go early if you want breakfast. Regret that we didn’t get to try the Lunch special or pies- they looked incredible. (Whole pies are about $26). Parking was on both sides of the corner lot, handicapped accessible on the side street. Definitely a great place to visit. You’ll leave full and happy. Highly recommend!

I went all through the Frio River area hitting multiple restaurants, in multiple cities/towns with my family on our vacation. And by far, this was the best location to eat for us so far. It was on a Sunday, right before the local church’s where over with their sermons. We walked in and sat ourselves. Immediately, a waitress came on dropped menus off at our table and took our drink orders. The place was already packed. The nice waitress was hustling all over the place. There was a short wait, but totally worth it. After eating our lunch we went ahead and ordered several slices of there homemade pies, excellent by the way. Definitely will be coming back! Small town, big charm, great small cafe!

We have had some rough experiences here in the past, but they have definitely stepped it up. We visited for Memorial Day for a late lunch, and it was amazing!! We first ordered our food and it was taking a long time, the waitress came out and offered us a free appetizer for the wait. Then when we got our food everything was so tasty. We had amazing customer service and will definitely come back soon.

Everything here was great! The burger & fries could’ve been better but other than that everything was really really good. Best onion rings & apple pie I’ve had in a long time!

We had a large group and a person with special dietary needs. The staff took great care of us and made sure our requirements were met. They really went above and beyond for us. The food was great. The biscuits and gravy were just ok. The pancakes are as big as your head!!!

The back room is a little warm on a 100 degree day but it’s Texas in the summer and this is how we roll. Still need to enjoy some black coffee with a piece of buttermilk and coconut meringue pie. Nice folks here and great service. Even the gentleman who served us who doesn’t eat pie (I love honesty and he’ll probably come around when he’s an old man). He recommended their top selling coconut meringue which was on point.
