We had a great time this evening!! Our server Josh was fantastic as always. Our favorites were the Beet Salad, NY Strip, Salmon, and Gnocchi. The only thing out of what we tried that we might not recommend to a friend is the bolognese. It had a great amount of toppings but was much different from what we imagined. Would love to come back to try more items as it is definitely worth the trip down from Green Bay. They also have a BEAUTIFUL, massive bar that I believe you could eat at if unable to get a reservation 🙂

We have eaten at The Lost Key many times. The food is always good and they use fresh ingredients. The risotto and salmon are both fabulous. The bartender made a great old fashioned. The trout special with the creamed corn and smashed baby reds was a great combination. We were able to eat at the bar which we like to do. The bartender was friendly and attentive. A little dark for eating, but the inside is very beautiful and clean.

Our first time here for my 5 friends and I.
Amazing place as soon as you walk in the door-you get top notch service from the host, and waitresses! The ambiance atmosphere is outstanding! The waitress and host were fantastic, and the food is incredible! Some of us had the burger with truffle fries, walleye and risotto-it was beautifully displayed and the taste was incredible. So much better than the top restaurants in the Green Bay/Appleton area. This is definitely a hidden gem! The bar area is nice and big..
We all loved it, and we will definitely be back often!

It was a great experience going here. I was hesitant because it doesn’t really feel like it fits Wrightstown. And walking in doesn’t help that feeling. But I think thats what helped to make the experience there so good. It felt different than other restaurants in the area and it was a great place to have a date night with my husband. I can be a picky eater so I had a harder time picking something off the menu but my husband who loves food found many things he’d order so we will definitely be back to try more of their menu and we’re both looking forward to it.

Just a fantastic place to stop by for a relaxing casual lunch. If you want that upscale but relaxed dinner atmosphere it has all of that too. All the seating is comfortable. Come down and experience this hidden gem.

Food was really good! Only thing that was a bummer was my burger was rare instead of medium, pink all the way through with no grey, center was cool. My husbands steak was rare as well, but he’ll eat it that way. I still ate half of my burger until I got to the cool center and I’ll reheat it on my own stove as leftovers. Wings were delicious, loved the seasoning. And the beer battered bacon is so crisp! The burger comes with onion rings on top and I hope they make them an appetizer soon as they were great!

Service was very friendly – I believe it was there soft opening when we went so they are working out any kinks. Great with how friendly and excited everyone was to be open.

Beef bone marrow was interesting, we loved the bread very much. We had grilled salmon and macadamia nut crusted walleyes and both were just alright. The macadamia nut crust was mushy and we got few fish bones. Espresso martini was a huge disappointment, I couldn’t even finish it. We tried tiramisu for dessert and it’s just okay.

Service was amazing though and we love the decor, the building and the atmosphere there. Too bad the food and drink were not what we expected.

Wait staff was polite and prices seemed to align with the environment.

Cocktails Aran around $9 – $12 each
Appetizers ran around $9
Main courses ran from $20-$45
Desert was again around $10

My medium rare steak ended up being rare. rare (cold in the middle with only the very most outer layer being slightly charred) server was excellent and sent it back for a slight touch up after I cut it open and found the inside to be so cold it was still stringy. It came back nicely re-plated and was very enjoyable once the inside was warm.

Drinks were fairly good, a little on the light side but excellent flavor.

Overall it was a good experience even with the sub rare filet mignon right up until our almost $400 bill was paid and the hosts asked us to leave (while we already had winter jackets on and we’re clearly preparing to exit) so she could seat the next guest.

To be fair, we did enjoy an appetizer, a main course, and desert, while slowly enjoying several cocktails over 2.5 hours. (5pm reservation, politely asked to leave at 7:30).

However, I have never, ever been asked to vacate a reserved table at a “high end restaurant”, ever. Especially at a facility that still had 9+ open tables when we left (see photos) when we specifically pick nicer restaurants to meet up with long time friends. We meet as close to monthly as possible to catch up and have always had excellent experiences with other restaurants when it comes to socializing. Especially a “tap” where we were already well over $200 in drinks.

Food was good and overall it was pleasant experience right up until the very end, when it ended on a sour note. There are several other excellent options nearby that are not only more affordable, but offer better quality food (without having to ask for corrections on a $45 plate) and will also allow you to continue to drink and socialize until you leave without asking you to vacate.
