Excellent food and service. We went two nights in a row and was satisfied both evenings. Buffalo chicken was great, as was the Philly cheese steak. Wife thoroughly enjoyed the halibut and New England clam chowder. Bailey was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

We stopped here based solely on the name as we are a group of dog lovers. We were not disappointed in our decision!
We were greeted warmly, sat promptly, and our waitress, Isabelle, was great the entire visit; she was personable, helpful, and attentive.
We ordered the Crab Dip appetizer. The warm dip was creamy and delicious. It is served with toasted crostinis that paired perfectly. Not a speck of the dip was left.
One of our group got the Ceasar Salad with grilled chicken but subbed the Ceasar dressing for the new Raspberry Vinegarette. Definitely try this dressing; it’s fantastic! I got the Watermelon Salad special, which had mixed greens, walnuts, cubed watermelon, cucumbers, and the raspberry vinegarette. I also got one Stuffed Quagog, which was tasty and had a nice crunchy outside with a moist inside. The flavor was good. A third in the group got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and he said it was the best one he’d had in years. It was served with fries, which were nice and crispy. The onion soup was very good here, as well.
We all had various cocktails.
We’d definitely return here in the future.
This establishment also sells a small line of branded t-shirts, so check them out behind the bar; we left with a couple.

Pub grub? Yes. But the Arugula salad had dried cranberries, walnuts Feta, and a bit og onion. I added grilled chicken, and its a perfect lunch. My friend had the Tavern Burger swutching to cheddar. Said it was good.

This place was a random find, and we’re so glad we did. We went with our grandkids. The food was great, the prices were good and it was a really good place to bring the kids to also. Will definitely go back.

Great food and atmosphere. Service is always excellent, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My family and I love to stop in for lunch when visiting the Cape. Recommend the Doggy Dip (French Dip) one of my favorite lunch items.

This was one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. It’s dark and there are few windows. The waitress put my family and I at a table directly next to the door. It was awful because people could stare at you while you eat. It made us very uncomfortable. The restaurant was also very quiet so you couldn’t really talk. The food looked fine except for the tartar sauce that they got on my fish. I was too uncomfortable to eat it so I saved it. The waitress was uncaring of how annoyed and uncomfortable we were. One of the people with me asked specifically for a plastic container with ketchup (which we knew they had because the tartar sauce was in one). She came back with packets of ketchup so she clearly didn’t care. It was overall a really bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend going.

Had a great time at Lost Dog! We stumbled on it when looking for something to do late night off season on the Cape. Staff was very friendly, especially Ashley, the bartender who waited on us as we sat in the bar area. She mixed a mean martini and was fun to talk with. We had some calimari and steamers, which were delicious! If we lived here, we’d be here all the time!
