Great place for beer lovers, excellent atmosphere. Dirt, the bartender, greet you and every customer the way we all feel welcome and happy to land at this Bar.
Great Rock and Roll music, plus good quality beers makes this place enjoyable. Well recommended!

I honestly thought I had written a 5 star review by now for this place with how many years and great times I’ve had here but apparently not. This is BY FAR THE BEST BREWERY ON THE ISLAND! I love their Hatteras red ale the most but the main point that sticks out with this brewery is the staff and community of all the people who come in for a drink and pour one here. You guys are the best! The sound side patio is also a great addition to this place but I really appreciate you guys so much for how down to earth and welcoming you are. You helped me out with a leash tonight 😉 but I’ll always help you guys spread the word on your great beer and even greater staff! Be back soon!

Lost Colony Waterfront is my favorite bar & pub! Dirt makes everyone feel welcome. There are no strangers at the pub because of the fun, friendly atmosphere he creates. Dirt genuinely cares about everyone who walks in the door & his smile & laugh can turn around even the dreariest of days. I never felt like I had a bar or a pub that was “mine” until Lost Colony. Whether you’re celebrating a win in life or just taking a break & relaxing with friends or family it’s awesome to spend time there. The water views are spectacular & it offers indoor & outdoor seating so there’s always an option no matter the weather. The beer is fantastic. I’m not even typically a “beer” girl but Lost Colony’s brews are top notch. My fave is the Hatteras Irish Red but everything I’ve ever tried there is good. It’s also located near a pizza shop and a cafe so there’s always something to pair with your beer. You also have to check out the gift shop. Lost Colony’s apparel, mugs, and glasses are great. They have the best branding & logos. 5 out of 5 stars all the way!

No food here, buy they work with Benny’s Tesoro pizza. Went in and asked the beer tender what went best with a huge slice of pepperoni pizza. He quickly responded Flounder Pounder. I said I’ll take it. He was dead on, washed the hugest slice of pizza I’ve ever encountered. Will definitely be back, go getcha some.

What an outstanding brewery. Great selection of beer ( with great back stories), welcoming and friendly service and a deck with a fabulous view of Roanoke sound. The most dog friendly of bars and they are very happy to let you bring in food from the (many) vendors around the pub. Highly recommended

Absolutely excellent beer! The Brown Ale goes down so easily—and don’t stop there. Try the Holy Hand Grenade for a real kick! Fantastic location right on the waterfront! Can’t beat the view!! Terrific owners and staff! “Dirt” (the bartender) is a riot! We love it here!

Love this auxiliary brewery of the main one in Manteo. The views are wonderful, and the beer is superb.
Noted. Not the same group, but the same great beer. It can be noted that the pizza place next door is also amazing. Very large slices

Was at the brewery and got the history of how it all started from Paul and went on the tour of the brewery on Wednesday. It was the best tour we ever went on while on vacation from CT with 3 other couples. We sampled different beers and got to taste it fresh from the tank.
The place is just like an Irish pub with that friendly feeling. Oh, and it’s pet friendly.
I picked up some beer to bring home, and I’m trying to figure out if my local beer store can get it. It’s just a good tasting, drinking beer.

Really cool little brewery stop in Nags Head! This located is an offshoot of Lost Colony Brewing in Manteo. This spot opened May 6th, 2022. The inside is small with seating for just a few people but the outside has a larger deck with a beautiful view of the water. We were here on a hot day but it was still very pleasant because of the breeze. The beer was good. I particularly enjoyed the Scotch Ale, and the Holy Hand Grenade Imperial Stout. Definitely put this place on your list!
