My while we both love Italian food, my boyfriend isn’t a pasta fan, but loves steaks/ribeye and the like so I was so excited to try this Italian steakhouse. It absolutely did not disappoint. The food, service and ambiance were incredible and I genuinely would not change a thing. Our server was outstanding (dark hair, glasses and incredibly skilled but I cannot remember her name for the life of me ). Every person we encountered was so kind and attentive, and that definitely translated into the menu itself and the overall experience. They are chef operated and owned, so everything is done in house. Everything was reasonably priced for the quality and experience in my opinion, and I’m honestly shocked they don’t charge more. This is absolutely a new favorite spot of ours!!! Every course, check-in, and drink delivery is timed perfectly I genuinely have no notes. They bring your check inside of a novel, and honestly that was the perfect finishing touch to the experience. Happy hour starts at 4 and I am hoping to be a regular there. I highly recommend the bone marrow, meat cuts and finishing with an espresso martini!

With a sneak peak for their soft opening before the grand opening this upcoming weekend, Losanti did not disappoint! The atmosphere is perfectly balanced for an intimate moment as well as a memorable business dinner.
The espresso martini was simply the smoothest I have ever experienced, and worth the trip back just for another one.
Service was polished and had the perfect light touches to heighten the experience. (Misa was an exceptional server)
From the prime steak tartare to the prime ribeye, including the little gem salad and the Frenched pork chop, every bite stood solid on flavor, texture and technique.
Welcome to Columbus, Losanti, way to make an entrance!

We went during Happy Hour but were greeted by stern pretentiousness. The male host with the green pants and dark colored top should not be the face of your front of house. Listing the time constraints of sitting at the bar, offering a table with a time stipulation while still having reservations available online was off putting to say the least.
We decided to try it out anyway. As we went to walk towards the bar, the all mighty one stopped us in his original tone of power I guess and informed us someone will walk you to the bar. (It was less than 10 steps away) Unfortunately, the bar waiter knocked a full glass of water over on the counter which went everywhere. A lovely well dressed darker haired manager came out and helped clean it up. She was most pleasant.
Drinks: Traditional Old Fashioned was good. Nice burbon with large cube.
Food: Shrimp Cocktail (fresh horseradish on top is always appreciated) shrimp were decent size with good texture
The meatball was tasty but served lukewarm at best.
Focaccia bread was beautiful in presentation but very doughy. However, fresh tomatoe, basil and parmersean was nice.
The building itself was beautiful. Everyone after the initial guy was a joy but he set the tone. Columbus is filled with great restaurants of this caliber (insert your choice of CM restaurant, JR and others). First impressions carry weight. This didn’t meet the initial bar. However, we will have dinner (with reservation) to give it one more try.

Wow, I’m so glad to see Franklinton welcome such a beautiful concept to the neighborhood. Kate was so sweet and attentive, answering every question and being diligent with taking our orders. Finally a place you can order a blue rare steak thats served perfectly, roasted garlic spread is a nice touch. The drink selection is incredible, can’t recommend the Ruby old fashion enough! Unfortunately ending the night leaving the gravity LAZ garage was a nightmare, validation ticket wouldnt work and the call support was hung up on and a line accumulated behind us, and the 2nd person was exceptionally rude and unempathetic. I hope the lacking service of the garage doesnt deterr future quests to Losanti bc I want to return, but I’ll be sure to Uber instead to avoid the rude garage attendants.

The Crown Republic Group offers the best restaurants in Cincinnati, and now Columbus! So glad they expanded and brought their Losanti concept to Columbus. Food and service was amazing, as expected, and the space is incredible. Highly recommend – don’t miss the butter cake dessert!

Amazing first visit last night for the opening! The food was perfect, and I highly recommend the focaccia (hopefully I spelled that right haha). The service was great–super friendly servers, a professional yet moody and welcoming environment, and everyone looked genuinely happy to be there:). I also noticed different team members helping run food for each other, which was unique and impressive to see as a former fine dining server. S/o to the young man (I didn’t catch his name, but he mentioned he’s a first-year student at OSU) who brought out our “butter cake” he was extremely funny and kind! After a quick conversation, he jokingly grabbed one of our dirty forks and said, “Okay, those two clean ones are for you, and this one will be for me- ready to dig in!” Haha!

Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a classy date night, especially with a great wine menu. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived, the evening felt like a preview of the confusion to come. We circled the restaurant trying to figure out where to park, eventually settling into the lot right beside the building. Just as we were seated and getting comfortable, we were informed that our cars might be towed if we didn’t move them to the parking garage tucked away behind the building. No problem, we were told—the restaurant validates parking. A small inconvenience, we thought, but manageable.

With that sorted (or so we believed), we ordered the crab cake and the little gem salad to start. The crab cake arrived looking promising but quickly disappointed. It appeared to have been rushed through the fryer, coming out unusually dark with a flavor that was just…off. Not the delicate, sweet crab flavor you hope for—something strange lingered in each bite. The little gem salad was passable, but nothing memorable. Fresh enough, but uninspired.

For the main course, we ordered the salmon with charred onion mashed potatoes and a side of truffle mac and cheese. The salmon portion was surprisingly small—closer to half a piece—and unfortunately it was heavily over-salted. The bright spot was the sauce, which was actually quite delicious and almost managed to rescue the dish.

The charred onion mashed potatoes were another head-scratcher. The texture suggested a blend of real potatoes and instant, leaving them oddly grainy and flat. To make matters worse, they were severely under-seasoned—and there wasn’t even salt on the table to fix it.

Then came the truffle mac and cheese, listed as a high-end à la carte side. Honestly, it was the biggest disappointment of the night. What arrived looked like shell pasta covered in a basic white cheese sauce and quickly shoved under the broiler. No depth, no richness, and certainly no hint of the luxurious truffle experience the menu implied. It felt like cafeteria mac and cheese trying to wear a tuxedo.

At that point, dessert didn’t even cross our minds.

But the night wasn’t finished with us yet. After the meal, we headed to the garage expecting our validated parking to work seamlessly. Unfortunately, neither of our validation tickets worked, leaving us paying for parking anyway—after already moving our cars and following the instructions we were given.

All things considered, the evening was a frustrating mix of confusion, disappointment, and unmet expectations. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was a solid 2 for me.

The silver lining? I’m glad I tried it—because now I know I don’t need to go back.

Hands down one of the best meals I have had in Columbus. Still dreaming of the Focaccia and Chicken Parm, super excited to have a Crown Restaurant Group spot in Franklinton.
