My order came with beans. I was able to have rice in its place. We had 14 people and tip was added to each individual bill. Waiter was real good. Did not get anything mixed up. Was right on top of everything. Didn’t even have to ask for anything. He knew what we wanted with out us telling him. Is pretty expensive.

Had lunch with my family at Los Zarapes. The Carne asada tacos were grilled just right, moist,cut into smaller pieces and had wonderful flavor. The shrimp plater and fish tacos were awesome as well. Their horchata ( rice water) is one of the best I have ever had. Must try it. Service was very good and the waiter explained everything on the menu. So, if your o. MAHOMET,IL… stop by at Los Zarapes.

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. The chilaquiles and fajitas Hawaiian are both highly recommended, but it feels like you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

I never review things but I felt compelled to write a review for this lucky little find. Was on the way to Nashville and stopped in for a quick bite. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the exterior but I can’t resist tacos and margaritas so we proceeded. We were greeted immediately, sat, and asked what we would like to drink by the same person. Within 1-2 minutes we had our drinks, chips, salsa, and (of course) cheese dip. The waiter was very prompt and took our orders without difficulty. I wanted peppers instead of mushrooms in my dish, so I was nervous it wasn’t going to come out correct, as it often doesn’t for one reason or another. However, our food came out within 10 minutes, was piping hot, and was correct. It was delicious, a bit salty, but I like it that way. The rest of the service was phenomenal. Price was fantastic for a lunch shrimp dish ($7.50). The place, including the bathroom, was very clean. Only thing left to be desired was the margarita (tasted like cheap margarita mix), but the tequila was strong so I was happy. Overall, very happy with this little find right off the highway!

Poor service, wrong orders and no refills. When we walked in, the hostess looked at us and continued chatting with other wait staff. The place wasn’t busy and they were just talking and laughing about some private joke. After a couple of minutes, they finally seated us. The waiter got one of our orders wrong, and never brought the extra salsa that we requested. We had to ask the food runner who delivered the food for more salsa, who then delegated it to a waitress who, after an eye roll, went to get it.

Been there many of times. But tonight was not the best service. Got our drinks and took food order and also advised him that it was our daughters birthday. Food came and then NEVER saw our server again. Came back with food still on a plate and provide the check and walked away. No refills never asked how the food was. We then waited for them to sign to her and waited. Asked the server as he FINALLY walked by and he gave the shoulder shrug. Took our check to the counter and paid and asked the about if they sing for birthday and he stated YES. proceed to tell him situation paid and left. Hope we have a better outcome the next time.
