The best and most reasonable priced street tacos in Bowling Green Ky! This place offers taco specials throughout the week with some tacos being like 1.25 and they are great; however even when full priced the tacos are amazing and tasty. I highly recommend eating here and getting some authentic tacos. This taco tray below is $30 for 15 tacos with all the sides and you can’t beat this deal!

Stopped into Los Volcanes on the strength of the reviews, and I agree it’s a pretty darn good taco. They opened promptly at 11 am and were sitting folks with music pumping. Water and chips came out quickly. Menu is fairly straightforward, but feel free to ask what something is. The taco chicas are small street tacos with onions and cilantro. I had almost all of them just to try the flavors, and they all were good. I removed some on the onions, though. Rice was flavorful, and the salsa for the chips was good. Overall, a good lunch!

Great food, exceptional service, and quality cuisine. It’s a lot bigger than you think as well, if you have only seen it from the outside. Plenty of seating, live entertainment area, and ambient scenery. Highly recommend!

Los Volcanes has hands down some of the, if not the best tacos in Bowling Green. They are so flavorful and the sauces they have make them even better. Very authentic street style tacos. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Waitress was welcoming and attentive. Music was 80s rock at first, then Mexican pop. Tacos are quite small – more a tasting plate than a proper meal – but extremely tasty. Chimichanga, likewise, was textbook. My dish, the name of which I cannot recall, included unpeeled shrimp smothered in a savory red sauce, beans and rice, French fries, and a small assortment of veg. Delicious, if somewhat hard to eat without the sauce getting everywhere (unless I was supposed to eat it without removing the heads first?). Atmosphere is warm, an excellent little hole in the wall. Not the best Mexican in the area, but not bad by half. Recommended.

$1 street tacos on Tuesday is a killer deal. Everything I’ve had there is good. Although the red salsa is pretty bland, they have a couple of other bottles they sit on the table which spice it up. Try the green stuff!

On my first visit I got the Volcano Combo, which included three tacos with a choice of chicken, steak or pork (I got one of each), guacamole, pico de gallo, and chips. The tacos were all delicious, the guac and pico were also good, and so were the chips and salsa that came with our meals. My friend got the Burrito Barzon, which she got with chicken filling and topped with queso, pineapple, shrimp and chorizo. I couldn’t believe my eyes because it was the biggest burrito I’ve ever seen! I tried some of it, and it was so good, that’s what I plan to get next time. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Bowling Green competing for your business, but you need to try this one.

I absolutely love this place. I’m always surprised it isn’t busy all the time.. but I also enjoy the peace and quiet. The staff is super sweet. Anything with the al pastor is amazing. I have a strong preference for the sopas. They are like carnival tacos. They’re always hot and crispy, and the Pico is seasoned! They use a special cheese in their quesadilla that my husband loves. The margaritas are cheap and and strong and tasty. They have the big glass bottles of Mexican Coke too. I would highly recommend this place for date night. Honestly it’s the only Mexican place in Bowling Green I’ll go to anymore.
