Hesitation in writing this, because it is obviously a well kept secret, but, this place is amazing. My tacos el Diablo were accompanied with a phenomenal avocado based sauce with the perfect heat. My gf’s pollo loco was the best we’d ever tasted, with mushrooms,spinach, onions and the best balance of cheese on two giant chicken beasts pounded thin and what I can only guess was grilled on charcoal? If not they fooled me. Both salsa we tried were superb, warning: their hot is hot, the mild has depth of flavors and smokiness… oh and the view! We’ll be back.

This is possibly the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is excellent, but that’s just a prerequisite for any good restaurant. On top of that, the ingredients they give you for the cost is phenomenal. I was surprised by how much food they gave us for the price and they don’t skimp on ingredients like avocados and green Peppers, etc. My recommendation to you is to be conservative in ordering because the portions are huge, and just leave them a healthy tip. With a 30% tip I still felt the overall cost was a great deal.
Atmosphere is great, feels like an upscale restaurant overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Overall in all aspects just much better than any other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to at a similar price point.

The food and service were wonderful!
The only drawback was that they were doing some sort of renovations below the deck where we ate that disturbed the atmosphere a little, but I understand things like this can’t necessarily be avoided.
I would definitely recommend this as a great place to eat!

Enjoyed a fantastic late lunch here with my family. The decor is classy unlike a lot of Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Upon entering, the smell was so enticing & yummy. We were seated on the heated patio and could see the beautiful waterfall. I had a classic margarita which is typically not a great marg at most restaurants, but this one was fresh & so good. My taco salad was probably the best I’ve ever had although my daughter didn’t like the spring mix. The pork carnitas with verde sauce were probably also the best I’ve ever had. My son had the carnitas chimichanga & said it was fantastic. Unfortunately my husband didn’t care for his enchilada supreme sauce especially considering how flavorful the rest of the meals were. The salsa though was fantastic, a bit smoky & not too spicy. I would definitely recommend this place & would go back in a heartbeat. We ended with sopapillas which I forgot to snap a picture of. They were a light and tasty end to a fabulous lunch.

This location near Toxaway falls is beautiful. Some of the seating overlooks the falls and it’s just so relaxing.
I ordered guacamole for the chips and a taco salad with shrimp and it was excellent. The cilantro tasted like it was pulled out of their garden in the back.
Service was great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Ample parking on a Friday for lunch.

We’re from Orlando Florida came by this place on accident. This spot right here is the bomb! Great view and great food! Best al pastor street tacos I’ve had ever. Best birria tacos! Everyone’s food was spot on! We were a party of 10 and everything was perfect!

The food was amazing. Great restaurant in fast service and the prices were reasonable parking is right outside. I think my favorite was 12 inch los vaqueros special. Friendly staff, birria was alright, but everything else was delicious. Overlooking to a waterfall.

Great Mexican food, great service, and great location. We brought our dogs so we ate at their outside seating but the inside and patio seating looked really nice too. The food was large portions, warm and tasty. Our server was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
