First time I ordered in this place, unfortunately in the beginning my experience was not good as I wished since I ordered a quesadilla and it was floating on grease oil and all the flour tortilla was totally wet such made it taste not so pleasant by the moment of eat I hope they modify that since in quesadillas the tortilla texture should stay dry since is flour tortilla, so I drove back and explained the situation to the lady in the counter and she was so kind took the food back and gave me a totally new dish this time the taste was pretty good and it was a carne asada burrito with the tortilla warm but dry! Definitely customer service can change a bad review into a good one.

Food and fresh salsas are delicious, service is fast and friendly. You can’t go wrong with any carne asada menu items – burrito, street tacos, nachos, quesadillas, or the Vaquero torta

My order was wrong asked for it plain and it had onions, the beans and rice had were bland. The tortilla tasted like cheap store bought tortillas, was undercooked tasted sweet and extremely greasy I could barely finish half before It ended up in the trash and find another restaurant. Salsa had no flavor. Extremely dissatisfied with my meal. Definitely will not be coming back for “authentic” meals.

This place is awesome! I did a to-go order, in person, and I was pleased with how fast they had the food ready. Once I opened my food at home, I was pleasantly surprised to see how big of portions they gave and the presentation of the food was great. Not to mention the value for how much food they give is awesome – great prices! I will definitely be returning and I recommend it to anyone living in Cleburne or visiting!

Very delicious! The salsa bar was great because we got to try various type to find exactly what we wanted. I got the Cabeza burrito and it was packed with meat and so flavorful. The Agua Fresca was great too, I got the melon and my husband got the pineapple. 10/10 we will definitely be back again and again.

Not from this area but this girl loooooves some good Mexican food. Went with my friend and we both looooooooved the taco plate. The taco shells were thin and crispy. Everything’s home made. Not 100% sure but even the taco shells tasted home made and NOT store bought. The chips also tasted home made. They were hot fresh and crsipy. There’s nothing like some home made beans. Man they were the best. Now let’s get to the salsa bar. A lot to choose from. If you’re a sissy don’t dare touch or even smell the habanero sauce. It was super hot. Nope I didn’t try it either lol. Way too hot for me but I bet it was good. The other salsas were great. All had a little kick to them. You what great homemade tacos go try this place.

This is truly the DFW area’s best Mexican food! True California traditional Mexican flavors. Very friendly staff. Various salsa flavors at the self-serve slasa bar that are always fresh and range from mild to hot! A flavor for everyone! You won’t be disappointed!

Don’t judge a book by its cover! Los Vaqueros may look unassuming from the outside, but if you pass it up, you’ll regret not trying it sooner.
The place is clean and tidy inside, with all booth seating and a huge menu on the wall—tons of burrito options and a classic breakfast selection (no Migas, but that wasn’t a dealbreaker). The young man at the register was polite and efficient, and we got our order in just before the rush hit.
A friendly server brought us homemade chips—hot, crispy, perfectly salted little triangles of corn tortilla goodness. The salsa bar is a dream: spicy salsas, green sauces, pickled carrots, jalapeños, and onions. We like it hot, and the salsas delivered!
I had the Huevos a la Mexicana—scrambled eggs with jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions, served with rice, beans, and fresh homemade tortillas. The eggs were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I would’ve loved fried potatoes instead of rice, but that’s on me for not asking.
My husband got the carne asada burrito, which was massive (seriously, the size of my head!). He’s usually super picky, but he devoured it and kept saying, “We’re definitely coming back here for breakfast.”
By the time we left, the place was packed with people picking up orders and waiting for tables. That says it all.
Highly recommend! We’ll absolutely be back.

I’m originally from Cali and this Taco shop transported me back home for just a moment. The food and service were amazing!! I’m about 30 minutes away but will definitely be back. I’ve loved everything except the surf and turf fried and the Baja fish taco
