This is a large Texas restaurant with a lot going on inside. Great food and service. I would come back here the next time I’m in Texas. Salsa on the table is definitely homemade and has a nice kick from the jalapeños. The margaritas here are very good as well, and are a great start to a night at the Stockyards.

I would like to thank the wait staff at Los Vaquersos for their excellent service for my brother in laws wedding reception. The food and service were 5 stars. We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery as well. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Checked this place out after not being there in several years. It tasted the same as it did all the times prior. The cheese enchiladas, crispy tacos, and sangaritas are go to items for me. The taco meat was spot on, chef’s kiss!

This restaurant came highly recommend, so hubby and I were very excited to try it. Unfortunately, the food was bland, greasy, the tortillas for the enchiladas were cold, the shrimp tasted fishy, beans tasted like they were from a can, the rice was dry, and the chips were stale. We sent our food back, hubby lost his appetite and I tried some tacos. The atmosphere, location, and decor was nice. Our waitress Kim was good and understanding. It is a bit pricy, so we expected the food to be better. It’s a NO from us.

Fantastic location and a gorgeous place—a big, beautiful old building. They also have what appears to be a gorgeous patio, but it seems like it’s only for big events. Why not offer regular seating out there, compete with Joe T’s? We would definitely go more o if they let us sit on the patio…
