Stopped into Los Tulipanes at 101 North Runger Avenue Suite H in Sheldon and it was exactly what you hope for in a Mexican restaurant: warm, welcoming service and food that tastes fresh and made with care. Everything came out hot, portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were on point.

The service was BEYOND AMAZING. Our waiter was superior & funny. The food was INCREDIBLE. I rarely find a reason to tip 50% of the bill. This place was worth it. The only downer was the fried ice cream BUT…. the fried cheesecake, ANAZING.

Ate here on my way through town. Cute place. Had a chimichanga that was super good. Got a burrito to go for next day. Everything was excellent and fresh. Strawberry margarita was yummy and boozy. Service quick and pleasant.

I have been eating here for the past 4 years and loved it! NOT ANYMORE. My boyfriend and I were here in July for his birthday (horrible service) and today was horrible food. I ordered the Taco Salad. You should change the name to Taco Soup! See attached photo, the entire meal looked like that when I stirred it up. It was so disgusting! My boyfriend had the Fajita val Con as he always does. It was so spicy he became physically sick after we left. We have NEVER had a problem here and ate here at least 5 times a month. We are both physically sick at home after this visit. We probably should have stopped eating right away, but we were taught never to waste food. I’ve also notice the staff consists of all new faces as well. Not sure what happened but the change is definitely NOT for the best!! Not returning anymore. Very disappointed!

Traveling in the area and stopped in on a rainy Thursday evening. Salsa is boarding tomato sauce. I highly recommend asking for their hot salsa. It tastes great and mixes well. I had an enchilada combo that tasted great. Quick and friendly service. It hit the spot after a long day.

This was love at first bite! Honestly, my mouth is watering thinking about Los Tulipanes! Yesterday, I went there on a co-workers suggestion and was blown away — first, by the atmosphere, which transports you to a little Mexican town, and then by the taste!
Right away my table was greeted with homemade chips and salsa and the most delicious queso; I ordered enchiladas and the plate was pure perfection! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD—- I was so engaged in the meal and conversation that I didn’t take any photos!
Takeaway: I would absolutely make the 5 hour drive to go back again!
