May not be a full 5 star but it was pretty dang good.

Service and food was great highly suggest getting the hit salsa and mixing with the regular. Together they are perfect.

My only complaint is that the Margaritas really seemed straight from mix, with no tequila.

It is in an old train station building, that would probably have been razed if Los Tres Hermanos wasn’t paying the light bill. Not much happening in Hominy, just dilapidated vacant buildings and rusting oilfield equipment, abandoned evidence of the bustling oil boom days. Many of the city lots are covered with decaying antique iron dinosaurs, which is now worth more in scrap steel value, than the land it occupies. The men that operated the equipment are long gone, as is the wealth they made from the effort. Two cop cars sitting in the burned-out corner convenience store parking lot. Officers talking to each other to keep from falling asleep from the boredom. Even the Dollar General appears to be barely making it; similar to the cell phone service that fades in and out, almost nonexistent. Traffic delays from road construction on the edge of town, forces life to slow down even more. Welcome to Hominy Oklahoma.
In a town by this name, you would think the Mexican restaurant would have Pozole. Nope. Los Tres Hermanos makes up for it though with a great small town OkieMex menu covering just about everything else. The service was acceptable. Some of the food items were exceptional. Those will be emphasized.

The red salsa was good. The green salsa was spectacular. Fresh tomatillos, jalapenos, onion, cilantro and other spices, blended to perfection. Pick out a spoon shaped chip and fill it to capacity. Delicious. Next up the perfect crispy, flavorful carnitas in the enchiladas. These were done right and then covered with a tangy green sauce. An unbeatable combination. I ordered my enchiladas with half green sauce and half chili. The chili was very good. If they sell it by the bowl, get it. Everything else on the plate was fresh and mildly seasoned. My only criticism was the temperature of the food and plates. They were properly warm, but they needed to spend more time in the broiler. The cheese on my wife’s enchiladas needed more time in the heat, as did the cheese filling in my enchiladas.
The carnitas filled enchiladas, with the green sauce, is the winning meal here. For a perfect start to the meal, ask for the green salsa to scoop up with the crispy chips.

Food was good. Margaritas, not so much. It was so sweet, I had to ask for a shot of tequila to add to it just to kill the over power of the sweetness. A medium Margarita ended up costing $18. Not top shelf either…. House tequila. I hadn’t been in several months, thought we would try it again to see if Margaritas were any better. But sadly they were not. 1 beer, 1 Margarita, 2 basic meals, with a tip $80

The food was ok-ish. I rated it a 3 because for the little amount of food I got for the amount I paid for it I was highly disappointed. And the food was very bland which was great for my 1yr old but not so great for me. While the staff was friendly, they were too busy goofing off to worry about their customers.

Food and service were good. Bottled beer was bad and skunky.

Hominy is so fortunate to have this restaurant. The food is superb and sets the bar for other Mexican restaurants. It is a small establishment inside the old train station, which gives it a cozy ambiance that feels lived in. The salsa is fresh and tasty. We’ve made our way around the entire menu and not found a single complaint. If you want pure joy in a bite, this is the place to indulge.
