Los Tres Cochinitos is the kind of neighborhood Mexican restaurant that instantly feels familiar, offering a comforting blend of authentic flavors and a warm, family-run atmosphere. The moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly made tortillas and slow simmered sauces sets the tone for a traditional meal made with care. Their menu showcases classic dishes molcajetes, enchiladas, pozole, and breakfast plates all prepared in a style that balances home cooked comfort with rich, bold flavors. The service is consistently friendly, and the staff seem genuinely invested in making sure every guest is well taken care of. Portion sizes are generous without feeling excessive, and the seasoning highlights the authenticity of regional Mexican cooking. What stands out most is the consistency; every plate feels like it was made to order and delivered with pride. The restaurant has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in for a meal with friends or family. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and the quality of the ingredients used. If you enjoy dishes with depth like slow-braised meats or fresh salsas with real personality you’ll find that Los Tres Cochinitos delivers every time. Their breakfast options are also particularly memorable, offering flavorful chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and hearty burritos that showcase a perfect balance of spice and freshness. Whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, the experience feels reliable, welcoming, and rooted in tradition. Overall, it’s a standout choice for anyone wanting authentic Mexican food that feels both nostalgic and satisfying.

I remember this place used to be good! Sad to say the quality of the food went down. I appreciated the free chips and salsa, and the attentive waitresses, BUT the quality of the food was bad. We ordered a Caldo de Res, the soup lacked flavor, had little to no vegetables. Also the portion was small compared to what you can get at other restaurants. We let the staff know and they brought another soup- but it was the same issue. No flavor, tasted old. We also got a fried fish, which was way too fried, some of the meat stayed stuck to the fish bones which was disappointing. The sides that came with it were just okay. We let the staff know we were not satisfied and they just told us they hoped next time would be better but I will not come again.

Very delicious Mexican cuisine with a great selection of home style, traditional plates. And that’s what you want when your in So-cal especially when Your in LA county. The pork chops were juicy and perfectly seasoned. The flavor of the chicharron and its salsa was out of this world delicious. The skin was super super tender. The carnes in the tacos were as classic Mexican street food as you can get. Everything was moderately priced and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and patient since we had a little one with us. Overall, very good food would definitely recommend. Dos thumbs up

Quick stop for breakfast. Found the menu to be a little pricey for basic Mexican dishes. A sign of the times, a stack of 3 medium sized pancakes for $10. A cup of coffee $4.50 no refills. And a Chile Verde Burrito $17.00, plus side it was big and made a tasty lunch for later

This place has potential to grow more, the food isn’t bad and it is nice thats open 24/7, but the service SUCKS TO THE MAX!!! The servers don’t know what they’re doing. I was a server for 6 years and trust me all of the girls here need some serious training! They forget to bring side dishes ( tortillas, chips etc) they won’t serve you alcohol once it hits 1am even thought i have order at 12 and takes them 40 minutes to bring you daiquiris and micheladas, they have a super ugly attitude, and when we bring it up to them they get mad and stop stoping by your table. They offered for us to come back next day to speak to a manager but it’s just a waste of time because clearly they only care for the drunken male customers instead of regular families. I’ve had issues with the same things everytime single time i come here. Trust me i’ve been a regular customer here for years 10 to be exact and it’s the same every time. the only thing that keeps bring me here is that it’s open at night when im out from work and it’s better mcdonald’s. From all the girls working there only like 2 are good the rest it seems they hate their job. needless to say i won’t be coming back here anymore not my family

Paid $25 for fajitas mixtas at Los Tres Cochinitos and it was a joke. The plate was mostly onions and green peppers with barely any chicken or beef. Only three tortillas came with it, and when we asked for extra chips just to finish all the veggies, they charged us extra.

Overpriced, skimpy on meat, and not worth it. Won’t be back.

The bar tender cant make the correct drinks, the guac is just plan avocado. Food comes out one item at a time and you have to remind them that you’re missing part of your meal. Once you get your complete order the food has non flavor and meat is over cooked and dry. Salsa has no heat to add insult. What ever you do avoid this place unless you want to toss $100 and a bad meal

Food was just OK. I got the chicharrone burrito that was on special for $8 and the Cadillac margarita for $18

My friend got the chile relleno burrito for $16 and the blended mango margarita with chamoy (I can’t remember what it was called) for $15).

In my opinion, the food was just meh.

My drink was OK. My friend just felt bloated after her drink and not even a slightly buzz.

I doubt I’ll go back. Just nothing impressive to make me want to return.

The waitress was wonderful though!
