As soon as we walked in, every employee stared at us, making us feel very uncomfortable. We were seated right away, given chips and salsa, and our drinks were taken quickly. Our food came out in under 15 minutes, which felt rushed. The side of queso was hard with a film and lukewarm, and my quesadilla wasn’t cooked through. When I asked for it to be remade, our server was rude and slammed our drink refills on the table. When the remade quesadilla came out, it was burnt, and he dropped it on the table saying “whatever.”
When we received our bill, we were charged for an extra drink we didn’t order. I asked for the inedible quesadilla and queso to be removed, but the server got loud and told us to leave. Even after paying for the one meal that was edible, he still charged us for the queso we couldn’t eat.
To make matters worse, the employees were speaking to each other in Spanish about us being a gay couple. This is absolutely unacceptable. We will not be returning due to the poor service, rude behavior, and discriminatory treatment.

The service was nothing short of amazing, our waiter was very attentive.
I ordered one of the quesadillas which was ok if you like cheese sauce. I prefer mozzarella. The rice and beans were very flavorful.
My house had the steak fajitas and he said it was delicious.
The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing.

Food quality was definitely a step up from the average Mexican place. Plenty of menu options, portions were very generous for the price. Servers were attentive and the food came out VERY quick. I’ve honestly sat in fast food drive thrus for longer. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality and affordable Mexican food.

Never going back! To start with the positives: you do get a good portion of food for what you pay for. That’s the only decent thing I can think of. The service was absolutely tragic! I am floored by the utter indifference of the employees. The hostess didn’t greet us. Didn’t ask us how many. Just looked at us blankly. Then the waiter took almost 15 minutes to come take our order. Someone else delivered our food and he never came to check on us. The tortilla on the chimichanga was completely limp: DEFINITELY NOT golden, if it was fried at all. For some reason it was made with ground beef too? They forgot my guacamole. The choriqueso appetizer had no flavor and the chips were cold and unsalted. To add insult to injury, the same hostess ignored us for almost 10 minutes when we went up to the register to pay. If I say anymore I’ll go back and complain, not that anyone would care, but next time I’m hitting up taco bell.

Great food! Good atmosphere. The food was fresh and hot! Salsa is thicker than other places in town. Staff was accommodating. The restaurant is clean. There is plenty of room inside. The bar looked nice and well stocked.

There are a handful of delicious Mexican restaurants in Terre Haute, Indiana, but you will want to make sure you also check out Los Trest Caminos. There is plenty of seating inside, along with tables on the patio to enjoy on a nice day. The free house salsa is very good, along with the warm homemade queso. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo: seasoned chicken served on a bed of rice covered in queso. The chicken was cooked to perfection! The service is quick & attentive. When I visit Terre Haute, I will definitely be re-visiting this spot. Add Los Tres Caminos to your Terre Haute Bucket List today!
