We especially loved the Arroz con Pollo, Pollo Toluca, and Pollo Ranchero all were flavorful and satisfying. The raspberry margarita was top-notch and easily one of the best we’ve had.
Definitely a place we’d visit again when we’re back in Detroit.
We were seated and given chips and salsa, but no water, and then waited about 20 minutes before a server came back. Even after that, everything took forever — it took an unusually long time just to get water, even longer to receive our drinks, and even the simplest requests moved at an extremely slow pace. During that time, we were eventually switched to an older male server, which was completely fine — he was actually the best part of the entire visit and the only positive of an otherwise terrible service experience.
There were multiple employees sitting around eating and socializing, with little urgency and no one willing to even acknowledge us. I also witnessed another table having to chase down a server just to place another order and pay, as they were on a time crunch. The lack of urgency across the floor was very noticeable.
I understand we arrived around 8:30 PM and the restaurant closes at 10 PM, but that does not excuse the level of service we received. The experience overall was exceptionally unacceptable. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to others.
If you’re looking for a better option in the area, El Patio in Farmington Hills is a much better choice.
