Food was decent, but they literally never have horchata anymore. One of the main reasons I go is because I love their horchata. If they don’t have it, I turn around and leave. Not only the horchata thing, but there is a young lady who works there. I didn’t catch her name, but she is quite skinny and has black hair. She is always so rude, if I see her working I also decide to leave instead of dining with The Three Amigos. I would much rather go somewhere I know the service is good, and are not out of everything. I don’t know what happened within the last year or so, but it has really gone downhill. I hope they fix the service problem, and they start having the things I come there for. Last couple times, they have been out of Jamaica and Tamarindo as well. They only had the bottled and canned drinks, which I do not enjoy.

The name has since changed to Las Morelenses II. Same great food. One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in the city. They have menudo only on the weekends (to die for). I went in a few days ago craving some and she informed me it was a weekend thing, so I asked for another “soup” suggestion. She said their chicken stew was tasty, and she was not wrong. The broth had a little bit of a kick to it with big pieces of corn and a baggy of chopped jalapenos, cilantro, and onion you can add yourself. They offer all the delicious Mexican sodas, Horchata and Jamaica too!

If you’re craving an authentic Mexican meal, this is the place to try.
The menudo and other soups are always well made. The tacos are really good and at a good price point.
This place is our go to for a god mexican meal.

Great authentic Mexican. It’s hard to find real Mexican food in this part of the country for some reason. You better know some Spanish though because very few if anyone who works there speaks English. The atmosphere is nothing to brag about but it’s not bad.

The staff was extremely rude. My food did not come out at all as I ordered it and when I tried to say something I was ignored. I asked for beans on the side and they put them in my burrito. It was messy and difficult to eat which is fine when the food is tasty but it wasn’t. The horchata was good. The inside is a mess. The bathrooms desperately need attention. It has potential but I don’t know if it will ever realize it.

False advertising with a sign that reads “Mexican & Chinese” which I thought was odd. Not the best street style tacos I’ve had, but certainly not the worst. It’s hard to find them without any fat, this place included.

It was kinda funny that the person at the counter didn’t know what drink flavors they had in the cooler when we were looking right at it. Lol

The main take away for me was, oddly enough, those little fake tattoo machines. The lady at the counter was nice enough to exchange some quarters for me.

All in all, not a bad place to eat, if given the choice I’d probably pick elsewhere.

Yes, this place used to be an old Dairy Queen, and that’s how you know it’s authentic. It’s kind of in a sketchy area, but the food is pretty good. They do not have margaritas, despite advertising such.

They serve the typical Mexican food, and as well as those red/green salsas that are so tasty. Would go again.

We went in late one evening last week and I was surprised at the excellence of the food. If you’re looking for fairly authentic food, menus and ordering in Spanish, and aren’t put off by the tidy but worn appearance, this is a great place to stop for some tasty food.

I sampled there Chicken was delicious had all the flavor. I did not like Steak Quesdila did not have any authentic flavor the white sauce seem watery not enough flavor and too much lettuce on Quesadilla.
They need more authentic Mexican taste add tomatoes.

This place is one of the best cap mom-and-pop secrets in Huntsville for traditional food. Everything tastes like it has that special ingredient of love like you’d expect sitting at the table at Grandma’s house this is definitely Mexican food not Tex Mex and it is delicious.
