How have I never been here before? We tried this restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation. The service is excellent, this staff is welcoming, friendly and very efficient. Not to mention their food is wonderful, tastes fresh and not too salty. We LOVED the chicken torta and my husband ordered the la piña loca. Ask for Mauricio for phenomenal service and recommendations. Hands down our new favorite in the area.

I want to start by saying I’ve been going to this restaurant for years. I believe they may have changed owners over time, and unfortunately the current management (as of 2025) has really hurt the experience.
Every time we come in now, there is new staff, and consistency is gone. My fiancé and I eat here often. On January 14, 2025 around 7:40 PM, we ordered two ACP-style dishes with chicken, onion, zucchini, and squash—a meal we have ordered many times before.
The food had a very strange taste, specifically the ACP sauce/additive. Before we could even finish eating, we let our waiter, Mauricio, know. He told us he had eaten the same ACP dish earlier that day and noticed it tasted weird as well.
We asked if the food could be remade due to the taste. He went to speak with the manager and came back saying the manager refused, stating that “you guys always complain,” and that they would not remake the food. We come maybe 3 time out the year
Despite not eating the meal because it tasted bad, we were still required to pay full price ($51.44).which we did pay
I understand restaurants have off days, and we are usually very understanding. However, being dismissed, blamed, and still charged for food we could not eat especially when staff admitted the ACP tasted off it was extremely unprofessional. I wanted to share this experience so others are aware.

This was my first time here, so after checking out the menu, I went with my favorite wherever I go and ordered the Chori Pollo lunch special.
Chips: light and crispy definitely some of the best I’ve ever 5/5
Salsa: Fresh tasting. Maybe slightly more liquid than others, but no points were deducted for that. It did have some heat to it. A low end of medium for sure. Onion and cilantro as well. Very nice. 5/5
Lunch came out promptly
Tortillas: I was offered corn or flour, I chose flour. Warm, soft, perfect. 5/5
Chorizo: Super flavorful with perfect amount of spices 5/5
Chicken: Tender, flavorful 5/5
Sauce: perfect flavor 5/5
Beans: good consistency, not bland, everything you want in beans
Rice: good seasoned rice, solid flavor, not dry, all the good things rice should be 4.5/5
Great place with great prices! Will come back to try some more staples and review.

Good Mexican food. Great drinks! Our waitress could not speak English, but there are a lot of pictures on the menu so we could still communicate. It was a slow night, so we almost had the place to ourselves. I would def try again!

We had about 8 people for a birthday party and went early around 4:30 so it wouldn’t be too crowded. There was one waiter so it was a little slow getting the orders and drinks in. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. The food portions were a nice size and tasted great. Overall it was a good experience and we will be back.

OMG the food!! The food here was SO good!!. Crispy items were crisp, the veggies were fresh. Margaritas… a whole freaking pitcher full, tasted perfect abd the chimi-cheesecake was awesome. All the sides were so tasty, the salsa & guacamole are just what you want. Before Covid, l ate here 2 days a week… and loved it. I don’t know if new ownership has moved in but the food has changed. No more adult sized taco salad. The ground beef used to be perfectly seasoned, but today they dropped a entire box of salt into it… totally inedible. Plus, the cheese dip was not even warm!!! I had to ask for tea refill… and the waitstaff was sitting feet from me! I won’t be back.
