Food is always made fresh and their horchata might be the one of the best I’ve had. However, portion size is not as good compared to a competition in the neighborhood so I took off 2 stars. Only went here because they’re open 24 hours.

Didn’t even get to try the food. The customer service was soo bad. I ordered a grilled chicken fry no guacamole add cheese & lettuce. The cook made my food 3x wrong. luckily I was the only customer because having to wait for my food for it to be wrong 3x is crazy. U might be wondering why did u let them mess up 3 times. The cashier was hesitant to give me my money. The first mess up. The whole fry from edge to edge had guacamole. I immediately know something was wrong because my fry was freezing cold. 2 & 3 mess up they gave me steak instead of chicken. So after being completely ignored & nt being treated as if I was welcome. I eventually received a refund after I had to curse out the cashier a few good times. My order was 16 & some change so I left the remaining of my 20 in the tip jar. When I asked for my money back. The cashier thought she was going to keep the tip. So I slipped my tip out of the tip jar & told her give me my 20.. You get no tip if I didn’t receive my food.

This was our first time trying this place. The atmosphere is really cool! When you first walk in you are surrounded by cultural art. It’s entertaining looking around at everything! They seem to have their usuals that know what to order. We tried the carne asada plate. It was decent and the flour tortilla was huge and delicious!! Also had the bean and cheese burrito. The food was good and the place was nice. The only thing I recommend is better service. The guy took our order and never said a word. Sometimes just a smile or a hello can make all the difference. I went up twice to order when we added the burrito and both times the cashier just looked at me waiting for me to order. He never said a word. But the food is good and we may return to try more options. There’s a small shared parking lot but we found a space right away.

Some of the worst Mexican food I’ve had in a while. Food was wrong, missing items, food we didn’t order, and everything was pretty awful.
Chicken quesadilla – zero flavor, bland dry chicken
Rice – dry like it’s been sitting in a pan for three days
Beans – bland and taste metallic
Enchiladas (bland, metallic tasting enchilada sauce) and I also didn’t order this, I ordered the chimichanga which I didn’t get.
Burrito husband said was bland as well.
We’ve had many restaurants here in San Diego and this was by far the worst.

Tito’s has good food. My husband and I went there a couple of nights ago to try them for the first time. Earlier that day we stopped in at 6 am to get a breakfast burrito and a Pollo Asado burrito. We were told the grill was shut down for cleaning after my credit card was ran. I was pretty upset, but with extreme ease they refunded my money. So giving them a second chance, we came back at dinner time and got the Pollo Aaado combo plate. The food looked great and tasted great. For the price, I felt the portion size could have been a little larger. But they have some amazing “street art” on the outside if their building.

I finally stopped at Los Tito’s in La Mesa for breakfast recently and enjoyed it. My huevos rancheros and the salsas I tried were good – not the best quality/price experience but definitely solid. The ambiance at Los Tito’s is a very cool bonus that adds to the dining experience for pick-up or dine-in.

I used to love Los Tito’s. Unfortunately, they have fallen victim to raised prices accompanied by poor portions. Ordered the carne asada California burrito (~$13 + tax) and received a dry french fry burrito. Very minimal meat, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream.
I will no longer be returning to a long time favorite of mine.

It’s really good quality. Took a while to prepare my food, but I think that’s because they were so busy. I got a torta combo, and the sign said it came with rice, beans, and a drink. It came with fries and no drink. No big deal, just went against their own signs. Overall, I’m coming back!

When I lived in La Mesa this was my go to place. It’s open 24 hours and my food is always amazing. My husband and I just got back from Mississippi and wanted good Mexican food. Tito’s was close to where we were staying and it hit the spot! They have a few locations, the food is good, and the artwork they have is amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in SD.
