Angelica was awesome! I needed a place to park the big rig for the night and the bonus was a VERY enjoyable meal and nice conversation with the owner. I’d definitely frequent this restaurant if I was local. The only constructive criticism I’d offer is that the food definitely isn’t spicy. My personal preference would be added heat, but I’m sure Angelica would accommodate if asked. I had the El Molcajete and it was SO GOOD! Strips of steak, the tastiest shrimp (I’m serious, the shrimp were the best I’ve had in years), mushrooms, poblano peppers and grilled onions served with real homemade soft corn tortillas, rice, refried beans, sour cream and guacamole. It was heaven.

Just visited recently. It’s usually pretty good. Our waiter yesterday barely spoke English, so there was a lot of pointing at the menu. One person in our group had specific instructions. The waiter did come back after he took our order to double check he got it right. He was a newbie, but was very nice and tried his best. Everyone in our group liked what they got.

Rundown and dirty. Should’ve known by the outside appearance of the building. Sick soon after eating here. Needs cleaned up, or shut down. Server was friendly. Will not be returning. Do not recommend.

Stopped on our way driving through. Seen it from the highway and decided to give it a try. Staff was friendly, food came out in 15 minutes tops. I got the chimichangas. They were very good. Wife got a taco and a quesadilla. Also good. I would recommend it if your in the area.

Just ordered a chicken quesadilla and chicken taco. Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Chicken was watery and cold .. barely any chicken in the quesadilla and in the taco Won’t be ordering here again.
