I was hoping to get a good experience do to the great reviews I saw online but was disappointed. I got the quesatacos of corn and a side of beans with a horchata. First the horchata was made before hand and was put in a refrigerator. There was no ice and the drink was powdery. This seems like the drink was made from the previous day and I had to get it myself from the refrigerator inside. Second the side of beans was just plain cold and it seems like it was from the previous day as well. Lastly the quesatacos. The corn tortillas are flimsily and just dry. The birria was delicious. But the cilantro and onion was basically just enough for 1 taco. Very disappointing that I spent 20 dollars for this food.

Service was super quick and the staff is really nice and friendly. This place also has amazing birria AND pastor! They have a small menu, but that means anything you pick will be amazing. This spot is definitely one of the best birria stops in the city

I dont leave reviews only posting cuz i feel like this is highway robbery! Plenty of other spots in town that are cheaper and taste better. Prices are outrageous for the flavor and quality of food. Consome not enough flavor. Red and green sauce is tamatillo based not very good. The monster quesadilla was soggy and just falls apart. Birria tacos no flavor falls apart. Meat not very flavorful. The chips and salsa sucks looks like it is store bought from a can with chips bought from heb. I would say the inside is very clean and quiet. Service is fast and the lady is nice. They have drinks and sweets in the cooler but no prices listed. They have a freezer with tamales but not for sale.

I really wanted to like this place plus the reviews seem pretty good. I ordered the mini tacos which came out to $3 per Taco absolutely not worth it. I asked for Jamaica with light ice but my cup was half full. The two ladies working were very busy talking to a guy flirting and not paying attention to what they were doing. The food was okay I think I got pastor but I was charged extra for something I don’t know. The food was hot but that was about the good experience as it got. The reviews listed on Google are not able to be scrolled to review and read most of them seem like the owners or restricted actual comments. I’m just shocked on how expensive these mini tacos are and for what you get absolutely not worth it. No wonder this place is empty with so many great options this place will not last

Los Tapatios never misses! Their main focus is birria; birria ramen, birria tacos, quesobirria; you name it! And it’s all amazing! The beef consume is so good ask for extras and I will even drink it when I’ve finished dunking my tacos! Best birria in all of San Antonio. They also have yummy desserts like choco-flan and tres leches.

I was in Universal City after my daughter’s middle school soccer game and decided to see what mexican restaurants were in the area. Los Tapatios Taco Shop had an excellent rating, so I thought we’d give it a try. This was my first time ever trying birria tacos, and I was a little nervous. My daughter ordered the birria Ramen and she really liked it. I ordered 2 quesa birria tacos and a chicken burrito, no onions. The food was super good, and the ingredients were fresh. I added a little bit of salt to my burrito and to the birria dip, I don’t have any other birria experiences to draw from to know if that was a good or bad thing, but this food was very good. 2 thumbs up.

This place is actually so amazing! I’m not sure how I’ve never heard of it but I will definitely be back! In the future I would probably skip the rice and beans and stick to the tacos. The portions on the tacos were great. So much meat and cheese!
