We were driving through Texas and didn’t want your on the road fast food. We ventured into Kingsville and looked up a few spots and found Los Tacomen. We didn’t know what to expect. I would consider this a local favorite from what we saw and experienced. When we first walked in there was one guy eating and it was around 7pm on a Saturday night we would have thought the place would be packed. We got settled in and the there was only one young lady taking care of the front and the drive thru. The service was a little different to what I am accustomed to when I visit a Mexican Restaurant or Taqueria. They don’t have prices on the menu so that was a little different. Just a friendly suggestion, I would add the prices either by hand or tape on the menu so the person ordering knows how much each item costs. I personally was not worried about whether or not I had enough however there are people who do budget and price may determine what they purchase. Maybe the locals are familiar with the prices I was not but I figured when in Rome do as the Romans do. We ordered the Birria Tacos, the Flautas, some Rice and Beans and we had the Jamaica Agua Fresca and Jarrito. Overall the only thing that wasn’t 5 star was the service. That was due to having a lot of to go orders and drive thru orders being handled by 1 person. Would we go back if we are in the area? YES absolutely!

As soon as we walked in the cashier lady looked at me and my friends ugly. She then proceeds to take my order and I teller her what I want and she doesn’t understand, so ask her if she would rather I speak in Spanish so she could understand, while doing that she made another ugly face because I was translating what I wanted from English to Spanish even though she clearly didn’t understand. So after paying for my meal I was waiting, while waiting she continued to look at my friend group while whispering stuff to her coworker which she clearly made it obvious that she was talking about us. Then when we finally get our food and begin to walk out she makes another ugly face. Overall I was very respectful but her attitude towards me and my friends has lead me to leave this review. I would not go here just because of this service. Also the food was not even worth the money.

The food at Tacomen and More is absolutely delicious . Everything has a unique and authentic flavor, from the tacos to the burgers. The service is excellent—always friendly and quick. I also highly recommend the Dubai-style chocolate-covered strawberries, they are a must-try! Definitely a great place to enjoy with family or friends. You’ll always want to come back!
