We’ve been coming to this small diner for a few years, including when previous owners were here. I wasn’t thrilled with the food today. I ordered an El Paso burger with the BBQ sauce on the side, but they put it on the burger. The fries had a heavy fry. My husband had a veggie omelet. Half the omelet had veggies inside while the other half the veggies were just put on the top, not mixed in. His side order of sausage links were over cooked. My daughter enjoyed her breakfast burrito, but her hot cocoa was watery.

The atmosphere was okay, however kind of small. I ordered the chicken fajitas plate and for the price the portions were good. The rice was very flavorful, and so were the onions and peppers on the fajitas. The beans I could take or leave they mostly tasted bland. The chicken was okay but could definitely use more seasoning. I was provided 2 salsas with my meal the red one being the most spicy and the green one being mild. The red one was very good and was definately the perfect amount of spicy. The green one tasted good however I don’t know if it was just the batch but it was very watery and it was difficult pouring some without it just sliding off the chicken. The horchata I ordered was okay too but could be a bit more sweet. I will however say that the customer service was very good and my waiter was very attentive and did his best to ensure I had everything I needed. Overall I’d say this restaurant is a 5/10 and worth a try.

Was in downtown Baraboo to shop at Vintage store and noticed this cute little Mexican restaurant and we decided to try it out. I’m glad we did! We weren’t too hungry so we just ordered 3 tacos (chicken and steak). They were delicious and the ingredients were very fresh. Although we took our order to go, we waited inside for it and it had a nice atmosphere.

Absolutely AMAZING FOOOOOD… WOW ABSOLUTELY WOW. The ambiance is so friendly n beautiful… the staff is kind. It’s super quiet in here and I am for sure coming back into here…. this matches Joses on food level in my personal opinion for what I’ve had . Had the carnitas and it’s got the perfect amount of seasoning….also a burger n fries n yu… man I tell u what… Hispanic restaurants have got to be my absolute fav Ever… I feel so blessed…

Did not know that this newer little restaurant in beautiful downtown Baraboo had breakfasts. Here’s a picture of their sign inside and their specialty dessert that we had last visit. Excellent breakfasts! Large portions. My meal was my breakfast and then left overs for lunch!

Very friendly staff and the tacos were great!!!!! Authentic Mexican!! Recommend. The breakfast plates that passed by us looked great and huge. We will be back.

We had their French Toast, topped with strawberries and blueberries, very generous portion… My wife had their Guevos Rancheros, she loved it… I also had their Menudo, so delicious and authentic, difficult to find even in Madison or Milwaukee, it’s with no doubt the place for Menudo!
