Great restaurant, well staffed, fantastic food.

They have a Best Buy-like communication system for the host, waiters, and staff with everyone plugged in, connected, and moving around to provide efficient service to all the clientele. It really makes a difference. There is a slight language barrier with a few servers, but the only thing that’s resulted in is a few mix ups when we’ve tried to split checks.

They just updated their menus. While it’s easier to navigate all of the food options available, losing the pictures takes something away from the experience in that you no longer have the ability go outside your comfort zone and explore other options with the security of at least getting a look at the food first. A Google image search solves this.

Regardless, we’re nitpicking… We’ve had lunch and dinner here on a few occasions. We’ve never had a bad meal, we’ve always tried something different, and we’ve never had bad service. Everyone is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and you get complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in.

Los Reyes is an amazing spot for authentic Mexican food!

MUST TRY!!

The flavors are bold and fresh, and the portions are generous. The salsa and chips come out right away, and everything from tacos to fajitas tastes homemade and full of flavor. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, which makes it a perfect place for both casual dinners and celebrations.

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area!

Food is good but some are very salty. I like tamarind juice here.
The staff kept asking a lot and asked if we wanted the bill while we’re still enjoying food. Feeling like they rushed us to pay and leave as fast as we could while there were just very few customers at midday.

I sent all my food back. I don’t ever send food back, until now. There was no flavor, forget it not having any spice, there wasn’t ANY flavor. I’m pretty sure they just reheat food in a microwave. The refried beans were gritty. The only fresh ingredient was a small sprinkle of lettuce on my ground beef taco that came in a store-bought shell. The chicken burrito, also in a store-bought tortilla. And for some strange reason, they cover their tamales in refried beans and meat, in my case I chose shedded chicken. The chicken at least tasted like chicken.

I have made better Mexican food at home, from scratch.

Taco Bell is better Mexican food than this place.

The service was good, but not enough to overcome the tasteless food.

We loved this restaurant! We were aiming at a different place a few doors down, but they were closed in the middle of the afternoon… their loss, our gain, because Los Reyes was SOOO GOOD!

We were seated quickly (not hard in the middle of the afternoon, of course) and the food arrived quickly and was hot. I had the Tocos al Carbon and it was AMAZING! My husband had the Quesabirria, and he loved it!

Only two things were a miss: the salsa that comes with the chips was pretty average, and though my husband used the restroom, he recommended that I avoid it because it wasn’t the most well kept.

Even so, if we lived in Charleston, we’d eat here frequently!

When you first walk in, there is kind of traditional Mexican decor and several televisions with sports behind the bar. TraditionalMexican music is playing over the speakers. The employees are very active and they seem to like working with each other very much and having fun! Everyone was attentive and took care of us right away. We got margaritas and they were really nice. The cheese dip was out of this world. We came for lunch so we got off the lunch menu. We had the burrito supreme. Both of us got ground beef. Hey I’m 58. This is really literally in the top 10 burritos that I’ve ever had in my life. Very good restaurant highly recommend.

Talk about delicious! I had the el enchiladas villa. It was a little spicy but not overly.

We had lunch here, the service was quick, we ordered lunch specials, and the food was tasty. For dessert we ordered fried ice cream it wasn’t upto our expectations. Overall experience was good.

We eat at this restaurant constantly, it never gets old. Ridiculously fast service and the food is amazing and consistent. I have the taco salad every time I come and it tastes just like the first one every time. Our favorite waitress is Nilmarie she helps us figure out what drinks we want, she always has a good recommendation.

We used to come here every couple months. We liked it. But today the music was quite loud and different. But the thing that was most bothersome was the server did not listen to our order. I ordered the lunch fajita and my friend ordered the Mojarra. The server, Jola did not listen. Maybe she has ADHD ? She had to be told twice we wanted water with lemon then we told her that I didn’t want the spicy salsa but she brought it out anyway. Then, the worst part was Jola didn’t bring the Mojarra for my friend, she brought him the exact same thing I ordered so we both had lunch fajitas. My friend didn’t want me to complain publicly so here I am on this unfavorable review. This restaurant used to be pretty good but it seems they now prefer to hire servers that don’t listen to customers. I very seriously doubt we’ll be back.
