They have a Best Buy-like communication system for the host, waiters, and staff with everyone plugged in, connected, and moving around to provide efficient service to all the clientele. It really makes a difference. There is a slight language barrier with a few servers, but the only thing that’s resulted in is a few mix ups when we’ve tried to split checks.
They just updated their menus. While it’s easier to navigate all of the food options available, losing the pictures takes something away from the experience in that you no longer have the ability go outside your comfort zone and explore other options with the security of at least getting a look at the food first. A Google image search solves this.
Regardless, we’re nitpicking… We’ve had lunch and dinner here on a few occasions. We’ve never had a bad meal, we’ve always tried something different, and we’ve never had bad service. Everyone is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and you get complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in.
MUST TRY!!
The flavors are bold and fresh, and the portions are generous. The salsa and chips come out right away, and everything from tacos to fajitas tastes homemade and full of flavor. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, which makes it a perfect place for both casual dinners and celebrations.
Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area!
The staff kept asking a lot and asked if we wanted the bill while we’re still enjoying food. Feeling like they rushed us to pay and leave as fast as we could while there were just very few customers at midday.
I have made better Mexican food at home, from scratch.
Taco Bell is better Mexican food than this place.
The service was good, but not enough to overcome the tasteless food.
We were seated quickly (not hard in the middle of the afternoon, of course) and the food arrived quickly and was hot. I had the Tocos al Carbon and it was AMAZING! My husband had the Quesabirria, and he loved it!
Only two things were a miss: the salsa that comes with the chips was pretty average, and though my husband used the restroom, he recommended that I avoid it because it wasn’t the most well kept.
Even so, if we lived in Charleston, we’d eat here frequently!
