We were headed home from a weekend at a lake north of here, and were running low on choices of places to eat, so when we saw this place open, well we were too hungry to be picky.
The 1st sign that things weren’t going to be the best, was the fact that they were out of Tamales. Also they had so many items on the menu, that even with my glasses on, the size of the print for the descriptions was so small that I still could hardly read it.
Food wise, it came out looking much better than it was. The seasoned ground beef in my better halfs burrito, tasted nothing like beef. The rest of our food, though edible, was by no means good. There was also a really annoying chirping sound like a smoke detector makes when the battery is getting low.
If we were hungry and passing thru this area again, we would surely suffer for another the extra 30 minutes or so, and stop somewhere in the next town we passed thru.

Love this place. Have come here multiples times over the past couple years while I’m in town and the value for the food is excellent. The service is great. The entire place is extremely clean. Great place to escape the heat for lunch and a cold beer.

The food is ok but the service is worse. The attitude of the lady that took my order is very off putting . She over charged me and when I called her out on it her true nature came out. But thanks to the Lord I held back. I figured business may have been slow today and she needed that change. I will never ever go there again.

Food was great.. The sweet tea was so good i got a cup to go. I had the house special which was a bed of Spanish rice topped with shrimp, beef and chicken.. then covered in white cheese.. I do recommend you try it!!

I give them 3 stars for existing where no other restaurants do. If they were in a city with other restaurants around I would have given them 1-2 stars. That’s for atmosphere, service, and food quality combine. I’m sure it’s tough here in this town to survive however.

The service was less than acceptable, but regardless this was a fairly good restaurant, considering there aren’t many in Alabama compared to Texas. Food is great, fresh, and the restrooms were very clean.

Hands down the best Mexican cuisine in the Demopolis and Linden area. I am not much on Mexican cuisine, but Los Reyes is definitely good! They had excellent staff and service!
