We go there all the time but this time we had really poor service and the food was terrible. My steak tacos were tough and there wasn’t that much steak. My friend’s order was completely messed up. The waiter obviously didn’t care. He took my friend’s food back and they remade it. However, it was still incorrect. They never brought our sour cream. By this time my friend and I were so frustrated that we asked for boxes to take our food home. My friend didn’t even eat. They didn’t bring us a check. They just told us what we owed. It was like they wanted us just to get out. We were nothing but pleasant. After my friend got home and tried to eat his tacos, he realized that the meat was incorrect. He asked for chorizo but he said it was some kind of shredded pork. This was a complete fail in every aspect. $35 for six tacos. Portions were small. I guess the price wouldn’t be so bad if we got what we ordered and paid for. We had a lot of missing food, wrong meat, wrong tortillas, light on the cheese and light on the meat and what meat there was was tough. Nope, too many good Mexican places in town. I used to go here years ago and stopped because the food had gone downhill. I started going back recently and it had been fairly tasty but now it’s back downhill. I’ll take my hard-earned money where it’s appreciated.

Visited for lunch. There were a couple of people. They were short staffed, and the place was big, so it took a while for the server to get to us . The menus were dirty, and the pages were stuck together. The food was ok. The bathrooms were backed up. Looks like the place is not being taken care of.

The food portions were pretty good the tacos were on point the chips were good the salsa needs a bit more love in my opinion but other than that I was pretty happy with my meal.

We enjoyed our food as all tasted freshly made. The only thing that knocked it down a little was service was a little slow, but the servers were all very friendly and very helpful. If I could give a half star this would have gotten four and a half stars as the slow service wasn’t bad, just a little bit longer than anticipated since it wasn’t overly crowded at the time we went. I would definitely go back!

One of my go to spots for lunch in the northwest side. Big dining area and decent little bar area. Food is always solid at worst, though can be a little hit or miss at times. Love the Tacos Al Pastor, would’ve been a 4 but the they missed the mark last time I was there. Overall great Mexican joint.
That said, for me a three is good. When it comes to restaurant reviews for me you have to really stand out to get above a 3. If I could give it a 3.5 I would. If your in the area and want good Mexican it’s definitely worth a try.
