Stopped for supper. Got the “mami” sized strawberry margarita and husband got a blue moon. Margarita was really sweet and needed another shot of tequila which we purchased. We both had the appetizer “tacos dorados”. He had beef, I had chicken and we ordered a side of rice and beans to share. If this was an appetizer sized portion, I’d hate to see their supper sized portions. We left stuffed. Food was delicious. We were happy to luck upon this place as we traveled through. Would definitely eat there again when in the area. Bring your appetite with you. You won’t be disappointed. Sorry we forgot to get pictures of our food, we were hungry!!

Friendly and the food is wonderful. I had the El Grande, every thing on it. Wow I ate them all. So full, so delicious.
My wife had the ground beef enchiladas, it was also great. Thank you.

This was our first time visiting Los Pueblos, and we were not disappointed. We were seated within 5 minutes for a party of 5, and we had requested outside seating on their beautiful garden patio. We were served complimentary chips and two types of salsa. Both salsas were unique and delicious. The outdoor atmosphere was fun with a beautiful assortment of potted flowers, landscaped areas, a fountain, and, of course, Latino music in the background. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food portions were gracious, fresh, and delicious. Lots of cheese. The menu boasts appetizers, combo plates, kids’ menu, ala carte, and even some American classics. Highly recommend for a great meal.

We come to Okoboji often and usually hit the same spots so we decided to try something new. Needless to say we’ll be back. I ordered El Alambre Pueblo and my wife ordered Carne Asada. Both were awesome. We did spicy skinny margaritas and they were a hit as well. Overall Great Service, great food, and a new spot to hit when we come to town.

Excellent Mexican food and reasonable price for the quality abd quantity of food presented (very good sized portions). When my husband asks for a to-go box, I know there’s alot if food! Both if us took food with as. They were busy, so it took a little longer than usual, but we weren’t in a hurry and it was worth the wait! Wait staff pleasant and attentive without being hovering,

The food is nicely seasoned, just like you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant. I appreciate that the menu isn’t too overwhelming. It’s definitely better than many Mexican restaurants in the south I’ve visited, with good service, fair prices, and a clean atmosphere. This is the first Midwest Mexican I’ve tried, and I’m really enjoying it!

The service was OK at best as was the food. It was loud as you would expect a Mexican restaurant to be. Our waiter was arrogant and indifferent as well as inattentive. The food had decent portions nothing was inedible but nothing was worth going back for. The tequila sunrise was almost creamy like he accidentally started to make a Pina Colada stopped added something and then splashed an bit of alcohol in it. Definitely not enough alcohol. Asked for lemon for the NASTY Diet Coke but had to ask 4 times! Requested NO AVOCADO OR GUACAMOLE on all items which when the items came out ALL had GUACAMOLE!
The saving grace for the restaurant was the ladies that were working! They were pleasant attentive and took into consideration that we are big people and that my mother walks with a cane when leading us through the restaurant to our table.

Have been coming here for years and have to give my full review.
This would be for me the best Mexican spot in the Lakes area.
I prefer a restaurant that makes food like I would at home. This is very good and might be better than home because getting a nice drink is the plus.

This is a wonderful treat to discover in a not so big of a town. We travel the country for work, so out to eat is all we eat. Food has been great every time
