The tacos were average or slightly below average. They are served on double tortilla and the portions are generous. I tried a lengua/cachete, al pastor, and alambre. None of them were tasty, just average. They were relatively cheap at $2.99 each but I wouldn’t try them again unless I was in financial trouble.

The burritos and tacos here are some of the best you can get in the area. The store also has breads baked there and packaged products from Mexico. Reasonable prices

Great little place in Franklin. High quality, very fresh food. The restaurant is clean but a bit beat up, kind of like a little hole in the wall favorite place. Good selection of the favorites. My family enjoys the carne asada tacos and burritos. The tamales are fresh and flavorful. Wide selection of desserts and pastries. Staff speaks very little English, but we have never had an issue ordering. Definitely recommend this place. Prices are reasonable as well.

I’ve worked in Franklin for years and had never been here before.

I feel like I’ve wasted years because of it. You walk into a little grocery store / taqueria that smells amazing. Packed. Line to the front and every table full.

Made my way to the counter, ordered Carne Asada with rice and beans, came with two killer sauces and some Pico. Shoved several loaded tortillas into the face and was extremely happy with my selection.

Here’s the breakdown:

Great smells +1 star; amazing tastes +1 star; fresh, authentic food +1 star; killer hot sauce +1 star; friendly staff +1 star.

I can’t wait to try something else.

Taqueria located inside the market. Fairly clean. There’s a small area featuring baked goods, and a large area to dine in if you chose. The nice man who took my order was fully bilingual, so I could ask him questions on the menu (I can’t speak Spanish).

I ordered one steak and one chicken taco with rice and beans. I’ll give Los Primos 5 stars for portion size and value— you’ll see in my photo they filled my takeout tray and I only payed $8 and some change. Vibe isn’t the most luxe, but sometimes it’s the hole in the walls that really deliver. This wasn’t the case for me— though I was given a huge plate, I thought my food lacked flavor. It wasn’t terrible, but I’m not sure I’d come back again.

Authentic Mexican food served in a relaxed cafeteria style but is more of a; “favorite hole in the wall” kind of place where you can pick and choose individual selections instead of mainly entire meals. You can order individual tacos, burritos, etc., or more, meal style lunch or dinner selections.

For the more adventurous, this place has a few meat selections that can be difficult to find such as lengua, which is beef tongue and tripas which is the milk gland/udder. Since I don’t live in the Franklin area, I’ve only eaten here twice and everything I’ve tried has been authentically excellent. If authentic Mexican food is what you’re looking for, I suggest giving this place a try. It does get busy especially at lunchtime so seating may be an issue especially thru the week.

Nice little market with small selection of fresh produce, fresh pastries, desserts, carniceria, and a small restaurant with delicious food such as carne asada, barbacoa, chicken, Al pastor, and other goodies. Strongly recommended for a quick bite and quick grocery pit stop. Definitely coming back if I’m in the neighborhood.
