I’ve been going to Los Portales for years. The food is always fresh. Despite the fact that they are often busy I always receive my order in a timely manner.
I love that I can get menudo with pata on the weekends.
The best part is the staff! They are always polite, kind and genuinely care about their customers.

Ordered through DoorDash expecting their usually good quality food. I was sorely mistaken. Ordered a meal that was suppose to come with three carne asada tacos paired with a Coke Zero drink. What did I get? A cheese quesadilla and a Coke that literally tastes like someone put bleach or cleaner in it. Immediately got refunded on DoorDash because that was ridiculous. Word to the wise, order from Emilio’s or anywhere else instead.

This is a wonderful spot in Hemet on State St. We were visiting and felt like Mexican food and this had great food.
My son and I got the same burrito, but we both were very pleased with the food.
Highchairs, wheelchair entrance, and fresh salsa make it a welcoming place.
We had a chicken garbage burrito each.
Lots of parking, and other needed stores around too.
Good clean area.
Enjoy!!

Always yummy food prepared fresh by friendly people! Tonight I had a burrito supreme and it was delicious and fresh! Also check out their salsa bar! Pretty sure they make fresh salsa daily! So good!

We are never disappointed with our food. The cooks always give you a large serving and never make a mistake. The cashiers are always friendly and the restaurant clean. Definitely the best taco shop in the valley.

I bought 5 breakfast burritos at $11 each and they are a rip off. There’s nothing in any of them. This burrito might be worth 3 or 4 bucks at the most but in no way $11.

I will say I’ve been here once before, and had a great experience. So I stopped after work to grab dinner for my husband and I. Two burritos was $27 which is not a huge deal, because like I said, I’ve had one before and it was actually really good. But tonight, they were VERY small. There were a few people waiting for food and while waiting for mine, I was just watching the cashiers & kitchen staff argue. It was pretty sad.
I will stick to my favorite Mexican restaurant where the burritos are decent size, and actually cheaper. Wont be returning.

This place is cozy with lots of parking available. I like their salsa bar with fresh carrots. Love their fish tacos and soda refilling station. Staff are friendly but orders take a bit longer than expected.

Our whole shop used to get breakfast burritos every morning, at least three times a week here. The prices are just stupid now, $11 for a breakfast burrito( beans, hashbrowns, cheese, and a rolled up piece of ham, lunch meat
