Im still trying to figure out how people dont like this restaurant. Since it’s opening, it has been a great place to go for a quick mexican meal. The chips and dip always good, the queso always great, and every meal I’ve tried there, I have never been disappointed. Great for a date night or big friends and family meals.

My goodness! This place was SLAMMIN’! I had the Quesadilla Special Grande (fiesta version) and it completely changed my life. I never really cared for quesadillas before, mainly because they were cheap with the meat and heavy on the cheese. Not Los Portales. No sir, they were HEAVY on the meat and veggies. They were perfectly seasoned, and generously overflowing from the tortilla. I’ve never had a better bite of Mexican food in my life. As a traveler from NYC, I implore anyone to try Los Portales, because this place is a hidden gem if I’ve ever seen one!

We are happy to state that our visit here was very pleasant. We stopped in for lunch the outside was questionable however the parking lot was full and we knew it was not because of T Mobile next door. We entered and I was surprised that the walls was not painted a yellow or orange but a light blue. We were seated quickly, waiter was friendly and very helpful. Chips and salsa was good however we asked for a salsa a bit more spicy. Oh boy … they definitely delivered .
I ordered the enchiladas suizas . My husband ordered stale loco both were tasty. We mostly will be coming back and recommending to anyone. We just moved from San Antonio….. so we were skeptical

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself was very clean and decorative. The menu was filled with lots of different items to chose from. The food was made within a few minutes and it tasted very good and fresh. They also have vegan menu options which I thought was cool. My personal favorite is the quesadilla rellena.

Haven’t been here in a while. It is usually great but not this time. Chips were over cooked and tasted burnt. Waiter didn’t speak any English so had no idea what I meant by the chips tasting burnt. Chori Pollo was so salty, I couldn’t even eat it, disappointing.

This place is not that good….first and last time I eat here….the salsa tastes like tomato sauce and is super plain…. ordered the queso with ground beef and got a plate of ground beef with little cheese poured on top… definitely not like in the photos….I got the fiesta fajitas (shrimp, chicken and steak) and it was just ok…..I will not return

This is a regular Sunday after church dining location. Food is consistently good and the service is stellar. The folks are getting it right. Food comes out so fast. Chips & salsa are perfect.

I went to this establishment for Taco Tuesday and this is what I was served . I of course sent it back and left . But please do not waste your time and money at this restaurant! Blatant disrespect.

First time trying this place. Table of 6 around 5:30pm on Wednesday. Chips are nice and not too thick, served with cold salsa. Highlight was the Queso con carne- white cheese with meat. We got steak & shrimp- good flavor & enough to share. Others ordered chicken fajitas- seemed like a good portion. Had buy one get one free house margaritas.
