We have been trying to go to this place the last couple times we were in town. The hours posted at those times were not accurate.
We were finally able to catch them during a lunch time.
There was a line when we had gotten there. The employee was friendly. We ordered several types of tacos and michelada to was them down with.
The tacos come with just the meat and tortilla.
There is a salsa bar where you yourself will go and dress up the tacos.
All the salsas were delicious! The meat was yummy! It was worth all the wait! We will come back.

Solid Mexican food in South Lake Tahoe at reasonable prices. Our only complaint was that the carnitas were a bit on the dry side. Get three tacos for $12 and a plate of loaded nachos with a meat of your choice for $10.50. The staff were all super friendly too. We’d recommend a visit if you’re craving Mexican food while visiting South Lake Tahoe!

Maria always greets us with such warmth and kindness, even when it’s busy. The food is always good and the service is quick. This is a great place after a big day on the mountain or a long day of work.

Small restaurant tucked away in the back of strip mall. The decor was a bit dated and the music a bit loud but the food was tasty and inexpensive. I didn’t like the drink selection of bottled beverages available on the refridgerator. Ice was complimentary but no ice was available. Ordered the enchiladas with mole and they were scrumptious! Beans and rice compliment the entree combos nicely. Complimentary chips were a bit skimpy but the salsa bar was nice. I gave a 4 star rating because they ONLY take cash.

Solid, cash only hole in the wall restaurant in a centrally located area in South Lake Tahoe. We had a big group and the servers were very accommodating. Great food. I really enjoyed my shrimp enchiladas. It’s cash only. Everyone enjoyed their dishes.
