The best margarita in my whole life!
My husband was here 3 or 4 times but it was my first time in Los Portales. And I just fall in love with atmosphere, music and the owner.
Food is amazing, margarita is tasty and sweet. Highly recommend for each of you. The best restaurant in Wabasha!

Love the service! Everyone was So friendly and refilled our drinks without asking! And very clean restaurant… Food was so delicious and being from SE Oklahoma/NE Texas I know Tex-Mex food…I had asked if they had a dish similar to what I get at my local restaurant back home and they said they could. I got the Texas Dip and it was so flavorful and delicious!! Thank you so much!

My wife and I were there for an early dinner on Saturday and really enjoyed it. I had the seafood fajitas and she had the mixed grill fajitas. It was a nice small-town experience, food was good, nice staff, will be going back!

I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food, usually, but this small local restaurant is excellent. Great, friendly service and very good quality food. Always seem to have a lunchtime and daily special and drink specials too. Now, when we don’t feel like cooking dinner, Los Portales is always an option.

Ate at Los Portales and was very satisfied! The Texas tortilla dip was so creamy and flavorful and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Had I not read others reviews I would’ve driven right by. Worth the stop and I definitely would try more things! *I also had the fried ice cream which is not always easy to find!

Let me start by saying that I am really not a huge fan of Mexican food. I have eaten some really bad and this alone does not help me gain confidence of eating at Mexican restaurants.
My wife and I were meeting friends at Los Portales. Seated, drinks were served and we helped ourselves to the endless chips and salsa. Nice chips, not salty like some. The salsa was delicious, with just the right amount of spice.
Not feeling too hungry, we ordered fish tacos. The fish was quite moist and very tasty. Soft shell tacos with a nice helping of various fillings made for a nice balance of flavours. Everyone else with us had either eaten their before and returned because they like it or, like us, were new to it and enjoyed our first taste experience.
I think they helped me get over my bad experience of Mexican food. I will return.
Friendly staff. A simply furnished but pleasant environment. Fresh and tasty food.
